Five new runes will be included in Nine Chronicles with the v100340 update to help adventurers improve their skills and abilities in combat. For greater options and stats, you will be able to construct, mix, and enhance runes. But in order to complete the process, you will also need NCG, Runes Stones, and Crystals.

What are Runes in Nine Chronicles?

The Runes are a recently developed system and things that can be obtained from various places. The rune system, in contrast to current equipment, intends to give players a variety of options rather than linear growth. 

Players can now selectively wear HP-related stats runes for content that needs a lot of physical strength, a skill rune for battling the global boss with special skills, and many additional runes run to substitute the attributes you lack.

You can use a different set of runes for certain functions in the game. For instance, you can equip specific runes for World Boss and others for the Arena. You only need one of each type of rune, so don’t worry. When equipping and de-equipping, they are interchangeable and won’t cost anything. 

When a player first begins a game, they can obtain runes from three different sources. Nine Chronicles wants to provide its players with a variety of gameplay options and further benefits in the upcoming upgrades:

Prosperity Gauge: Every 1700 blocks when you get AP, you will receive a rune stone from the lobby.
World Boss Reward: You will receive relevant rune stones as a world boss prize.
NCG Staking Reward: You will receive a weekly NCG staking bonus in addition to rune stones as your reward for staking.

Runes will be treated similarly to currencies alongside NCG and Crystals. New runes will be minted and sent to the players each time compensation is processed.
