VitalXP, the developer behind the upcoming NFT game, Lowlife Forms, has announced that it has raised an additional $3 million in funding. The funding round was led by Streamlined Ventures and Marbruck Investments, with participation from other web3 investors.
The additional funding will be used to launch the first episode of Lowlife Forms, which is set to launch on PC later this year.
Lowlife Forms is a looter-shooter NFT game set in a high-action universe where a gritty criminal underworld meets sci-fi fantasy. Players take on the role of a criminal in this universe, navigating their way through dangerous territories and completing various missions to earn rewards.
The first gameplay reveals of Lowlife Forms, which was on February 23rd, revealed its action-packed and fast-paced third-person shooting mechanics. For a game in development, the trailer revealed its top-notch graphics, rivaling the trending NFT shooter games in the market today.
VitalXP Gameverse
What sets Lowlife Forms apart from other NFT games is that it will be the first of its "VitalXP Gameverse". This means the game will be part of a series of interlinked games where players can experience different games using the same character. This feature promises to provide a unique gaming experience to players as it allows players to travel across VitalXP’s multiple games using the same wallet and in-game character.
VitalXP's first NFT drop will be coming soon on March 9 on the Magic Eden NFT marketplace. The company will sell its first set of playable characters, allowing players to own unique in-game assets.
Final Thoughts
The NFT gaming industry has been growing rapidly in recent years, with many gamers and investors looking for the next big thing in gaming. VitalXP seeks to enter the web3 shooter market strong, offering its gameverse product as something unique in its arsenal.
Lowlife Forms is definitely a game to watch out for in the coming months. The game is set to have further updates, so stay tuned for more NFT game news in Chainplay.
