Undead Blocks Multiplayer: The Ultimate Co-op Zombie Survival Experience

Undead Blocks, the world’s first blockchain game with a multiplayer “kill-to-earn” zombie survival experience, has finally launched its much-anticipated multiplayer feature. Players can now team up with a friend and fight off hordes of zombies in co-op mode. 

The community has been eagerly awaiting this update, which is sure to improve the gameplay experience. Currently, two players can join forces as Eva and Lucas, with plans to allow up to four players in the future by adding more survivors to the game.

This is just the latest update from the Undead Blocks team, who recently released a massive update that significantly increased replayability. The full game release is scheduled for late January 2023, and rumors suggest it could include a mall map, more weapons (including the highly-anticipated wave gun), more enemies, and a battle pass system. It’s not yet clear which of these features will be available from the start, but it’s certain that the release will be a major milestone for the zombie survival shooter.

Game Economy

Undead Blocks has a dual token ecosystem supporting its “kill-to-earn” gameplay. The $UNDEAD token is the governance token that allows players to stake for APY and NFT loadouts, and is also the primary currency for purchasing weapon loadout NFTs. It’s currently trading on Uniswap and Gate.io, and players can stake their $UNDEAD tokens to obtain Undead and special weapon NFTs. The in-game reward currency, $ZBUX, is pegged at $0.10 and is used to buy in-game perks and improve weapon NFTs. It’s backed by the $UNDEAD token and players can earn ZBUX by acquiring a weapon NFT. For those who don’t want to purchase an NFT, Undead Blocks offers a lending program that allows players to rent a weapon pack on the marketplace.

Undead Blocks can be played on PC and Mac, with full PS5 and Xbox controller functionality. The game is also expected to be released on mobile and browser platforms at some point, and the team regularly holds free tournaments with prize pools of $15,000 for participants. With its immersive gameplay, unique blockchain features, and constant updates and improvements, Undead Blocks is positioning itself to attract a huge player base.
