Shrapnel has just announced the launch of its early access phase on the Epic Games platform, introducing gamers to an exciting moddable extraction web3 shooter built on the powerful Unreal Engine 5. 

Anticipation runs high as the first event, set for February 8, features a playable event for players to take part of. 

The highly anticipated event will mainly feature a solo mode with 12 players and the Sigma Wave ability. The most exciting part? The event boasts a substantial prize pool of $100,000 in $SHRAP.

Running from 1 PM to 9 PM PST, the event will include a familiar arsenal of weapons, including pistols, ARs, shotguns, and various throwables, giving players various options and play styles to choose from. The event will last until February 10th, giving you ample time to experience it yourself.

Shrapnel, having secured an impressive $20 million in series funding in late 2023, emerges as one of the most promising NFT shooter games in the web3 landscape. Scheduled for a full release in 2025, Shrapnel sets itself apart with three distinct operator classes, each boasting its own skill-based progression tree.
