What to Expect in the Beta Release

In this upcoming beta phase, available for an unspecified duration, players can dive into Shardbound’s immersive world of strategic gameplay. Importantly, Victory Points must be secured for a full turn to count, creating opportunities for opponents to steal points by eliminating units.

Deck Composition and Gameplay Mechanics

A well-rounded deck in Shardbound includes five card types: Commander, Relic, Minion, Spell, and Equipment. Commanders and Minions belong to one of five distinct factions, each represented by a unique color. Commanders are positioned opposite each other at the start of the match, while Minions must be summoned onto the battlefield strategically.

Relics, equipped by Commanders, confer special abilities and can enable Dual Faction Decks, introducing complex strategic possibilities.
