The S10 Final Era has come to a close. Congratulations to all the leaderboard finishers, and good luck to the Elite 8. On October 20 at 7 PM PHT/ 7 AM EST, the Elite 8 Tournament will take place. As the top players in the game compete for the top slot, it's guaranteed to be an entertaining and competitive tournament. The stakes are considerably higher, and the intensity is intense.

Attention, collectible axie holders! Your collectible ticket rewards are on their way. The total reward pool amounts to 7,000 AXS, with collectible tickets determining the AXS distribution. The more collectible tickets you hold, the higher your reward from this prize pool. Each collectible ticket has a value of 0.515 mAXS. These rewards will be available soon, and players can claim their AXS on app.axie. Stay tuned for more details.

The Elite 8 Tournament Details

The Elite 8 Tournament is almost here, and the competition will be fierce. This event is a double elimination tournament with a standard BO5 format. Players will register three teams, each with three axies. Teams cannot overlap by more than nine out of the 18 axie parts, and once teams are registered, no changes are allowed. The player who makes it to the Grand Finals without losing any matches will have a twice-to-beat advantage. Exciting updates are coming to Origins. The Rune Upgrading feature, which was previously teased, will be released soon. This feature will allow players to upgrade their Runes to make them even more powerful in the arena. If everything goes as planned, the feature will go live during the Season 11 Preseason. Rune Upgrading will bring a new level of progression to the game, and mint fees will be adjusted accordingly when Season 11 begins. Keep an eye out for more information.

Meet the New Starter Axies: Shu Fen and Temujin

Two new starter axies are on their way to Origins: Shu Fen and Temujin. These spiritual axies have unique backstories that set them apart from the rest.

• Shu Fen: A student of forbidden magic from the Dusk clan, Shu Fen has learned how to control reincarnation. By trapping souls in talismans, Shu Fen can bind a soul to a body, bypassing the natural cycle of life. Despite this power, Shu Fen carries the urn of their lost friend and searches for a body to bring their friend back to life.

• Temujin: A devout monk, Temujin meditated for over 20 years in an abandoned Atia temple hidden deep in the mountains. After being attacked by a Chimera, Temujin lost his sight but gained the ability to sense energy. He defeated the Chimera and disappeared into the mountains, forever changed by his journey.

Final Thoughts 

It’s hard to believe that the first Origins season launched in September 2022. Now, two years later, we’ve wrapped up Season 10. The journey has been incredible, and the community continues to grow.
