Paris Saint-Germain Launches Silver Card on Matchain: Football’s Most Exclusive Fan Access Drop

In a bold step into the future of fan engagement, Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) has unveiled the Silver Card. It is reported to be a first-of-its-kind on-chain membership pass developed in partnership with Web3 infrastructure platform Matchain. Now live on digital collectibles marketplace Rarible, the Silver Card represents a new chapter in the intersection of football culture, digital ownership, and real-world experiences.
Only 70 cards are available worldwide, each priced at $10,000. The limited-edition offering is being marketed as more than a collectible. PSG Football Club reports that this is an elite capsule of access, exclusivity, and football culture.
From Web3 to Parc des Princes: A New Model of Fandom
The Silver Card is PSG’s most ambitious Web3 initiative to date. While major clubs have experimented with digital tokens and NFT-based fan interactions, PSG is positioning this launch as a departure from gimmickry and speculation. Instead, the Silver Card is designed as a verifiable and tradable pass to tangible benefits. These include physical merchandise, once-in-a-lifetime club experiences, and access to a private PSG community.
“This isn’t just a fan pass,” said Petrix Berbosa, CEO of Matchain, which developed the underlying blockchain architecture. “It’s a capsule of access, identity and culture. Built for collectors, superfans and believers in what fandom can become.”
Each Silver Card comes sealed in a digital Mystery Box that guarantees approximately $6,000 worth of PSG x Jordan Wings merchandise, in addition to one premium, curated PSG experience. The card itself is minted as a tradable NFT, providing holders with both utility and ownership.
The Mystery Box: A Gateway to Unforgettable Experiences
Unlike typical VIP packages or promotional giveaways, the PSG Silver Card pairs digital scarcity with deeply curated real-world encounters. Every cardholder receives one randomly assigned experience verified on-chain. These experiences are as varied as they are memorable, and they are designed to bring fans into the heart of the club.
Among the exclusive experiences available are private stadium tours, pitchside walkouts before kickoff, player training workshops, personal video messages from first-team stars, and coveted dining opportunities with PSG legends. The offering also includes highly sought-after slots for children to serve as mascots on match day or attend the PSG for Communities Gala Dinner.
These moments, PSG says, are “built to be unforgettable.” The club’s aim is to deliver tangible value that stands apart from traditional sports merchandise or online-only fan programs. All experiences are logged and verified through the Matchain protocol, ensuring authenticity and transparency.

While the Silver Card’s real-world experiences are the crown jewel, the merchandise included is no afterthought. Packaged within each card’s Mystery Box is a curated drop of PSG x Jordan Wings gear. The capsule collection includes a PSG x Jordan Wings Leather Travel Bag crafted from embossed lambskin, a 3D wing-embroidered Anthem Jacket, and a monogram-lined Bucket Hat. A pure silk scarf measuring 90x90 inches, designed for versatility whether worn, framed, or collected, adds a touch of elegance. Rounding out the collection is the “MJ in Paris” archival photo tee, which is a limited-edition shirt featuring a historic moment reissued for today’s superfans.
Taken together, these items represent nearly $6,000 in value, forming a significant part of the Silver Card’s offering and underscoring the premium nature of the drop.

The sale of the Silver Card is taking place on Rarible, a decentralized marketplace for NFTs. Its integration with Matchain allows for verifiable on-chain registration of both the card itself and the benefits it unlocks.
