Wild Forest’s Second Leaderboard Tour Brings Exciting Updates
The Second Leaderboard Tour for the free-to-play mobile RTS Wild Forest is now live, offering an improved play-to-earn experience. Players can compete for bigger rewards, thanks to an expanded prize pool across all Divisions. Choose a Division that suits your skills and deck power, win PvP battles, and collect leaderboard points. Ranking high enough gives you a chance to earn Trophy Packs, which include $WF tokens, NFTs, Gold, and Shards. This update brings new opportunities for both seasoned players and newcomers to earn valuable rewards in this fast-paced blockchain game.

This Tour introduces Division 4, designed specifically for new players. Units up to Level 5 with a maximum rarity of Common are allowed in this Division. This update ensures everyone, regardless of their skill level, can participate and enjoy the play-to-earn benefits. Division 4 offers a welcoming environment for beginners to get acquainted with the game mechanics, allowing them to build their skills without the pressure of competing against higher-level players. It’s a great way to start earning rewards early and grow within the Wild Forest community.
Unit lock-up restrictions have been removed. However, a Unit Marking System has been introduced to promote fairness. Units used in a Tour will be marked after one battle. Points earned from these marked Units go to the first player who used them. If these Units are transferred, the new owner cannot earn points with them during the current Tour. This change helps prevent unfair advantages through Unit transfers and ensures that leaderboard points are earned by players who participate actively. Marks reset after each Tour, making Units usable again for future events.
The marking system is part of the updated Fair Play Rules, which were outlined in the official game blog. These marks will be visible in the marketplace during the next Tour, helping players make informed decisions about transfers and trades. This feature adds a layer of strategy, as players can assess the value of a Unit based on its marking status.

If you participated in the First Tour, claim your rewards now. Visit the official announcement to find a link to the Rewards section on the game’s Inventory page. Unclaimed rewards from the First Tour will no longer be available once the Second Tour ends. The game has made it easy to claim prizes, so be sure to check your inventory before time runs out. Players who miss the deadline will lose out on the valuable rewards earned from the previous event, so don't delay in claiming your items!
The Second Tour is part of a revamped leaderboard system introduced earlier this month. This system addresses challenges in web3 gaming related to open economies and asset ownership. By focusing on fairness and inclusivity, the leaderboard system is designed to give players of all skill levels the chance to earn rewards. Tours last one week, and players with the highest leaderboard points at the end earn Trophy Packs. This structure ensures that every player, whether a beginner or veteran, can compete on a level playing field.
Types of Trophy Packs and Rewards
There are four types of Trophy Packs: Copper, Bronze, Silver, and Golden. While the first three include NFTs of varying rarity, the Golden Trophy Pack focuses on larger quantities of Shards and Gold, with a chance to win up to 10,000 $WF tokens. The whitepaper provides detailed information about the contents of each pack, so players can strategize accordingly. Trophy Packs give players the opportunity to earn exclusive rewards that enhance their gameplay experience.
Players can join any Division at any time. Each Division has unique rules, including deck caps and building power limits. Stronger Divisions offer higher caps for a more challenging experience. Switching Divisions resets collected points. Winning battles earns leaderboard points, but a points decay system reduces the number of points earned from consecutive wins in a single day. This resets daily or when switching Divisions. Points earned do not contribute to the Trophy Road system, allowing players to focus on the competitive aspect of the leaderboard.
The First Tour began with three Divisions on November 18. The Second Tour continues with the same criteria. Players can now compete for airdrops of the $WF token, which is set for a Community Round in early December. Download Wild Forest for free on Android or iOS via the Play Store or App Store and start earning today. With these updates, there’s never been a better time to jump into the action, build your deck, and play to earn.
