About Necrodemic

Necrodemic is a free-to-play third-person shooter game set in the Bullieverse entertainment ecosystem. In this wave-based shooter, players control a humanoid bull character and fight off enemies like skeletons, flaming hounds, and bear-like creatures. Your goal is to survive multiple waves or hold out for a set time. As you progress, you can level up and unlock skill tokens that provide various buffs. These can improve your health, enhance weapon damage, and more, making your character stronger as you battle through the waves.

The gameplay is comparable to Call of Duty: Black Ops' Zombies mode, although it's played in third person. Fortnite's graphic style is more visually consistent with the adversaries, which are primarily bears that resemble zombies.  Necrodemic is built with Unreal Engine 5 and uses the Beyond Network protocol, Base blockchain, and the Layer 1 Saga to bring Web2 gamers into the Web3 gaming space.

Necrodemic’s Features at Launch

Necrodemic is now live on the Epic Games Store (EGS) for free, initially available for Windows PCs, with a MacOS release coming soon. You’ll need to log in using a Beyond Network account to start playing. At launch, the game offers three different PvE modes: Undead Rush, Quick Mode, and Last Stand.

In Undead Rush, players face 20 rounds of enemies, aiming to get the highest score possible. As you defeat enemies, you earn points that unlock more of the map, and enemies drop power-ups, including insta-kills and auto-shooting abilities. Right now, only one map is available, which is divided into two distinct areas visually.

Quick Mode uses the same map as Undead Rush but shifts the goal to surviving for 15 minutes instead of completing 20 waves. Finally, Last Stand places you in a specific location with a breakable barrier. Your mission is to protect that barrier from waves of enemies. As you kill enemies, you collect points that can be spent at a shop for grenades and ranged weapons.

At launch, all these modes are solo experiences, but they offer great opportunities to practice for future competitions.

When Necrodemic was first announced, the developers teased leaderboard tournaments that would reward players with airdrop prizes. However, due to the delayed release, these play-to-airdrop events were not ready at launch. But the Bullieverse team has confirmed that competitions and activations are coming soon, starting from November 11th.

Details on how these events will work are still under wraps, but players can expect prize pools in $BULL tokens for the three game modes. The higher your score in these modes, the bigger your airdrop will be. So, now is the perfect time to dive in, practice, and get ready for the upcoming competitions. These airdrop events could provide a great chance to earn valuable rewards while enjoying the game.

Necrodemic offers a fun and exciting experience for both casual gamers and those looking for a deeper Web3 gaming experience. It is a game worth playing because it offers free play and the chance to win rewards in the form of airdropped tokens. Necrodemic offers an action-packed, fast-paced gaming experience, regardless of your preference for wave-based shooters or your desire for something different in the gaming environment.  With ongoing updates and future airdrop events, there’s a lot to look forward to as the game evolves.
