Murrmic Giveaway Launches Ahead of TGE

LowKick Studios' sandbox MMORPG WorldShards is launching a new giveaway event to commemorate the last countdown before its Token Generation Event (TGE). Beginning on May 27, gamers can mint a digital pet known as a Murrmic. It's not simply a show pet. The TGE will transform it into a lootbox. The game's native token, $SHARDS, can be earned by players through that lootbox. Other NFTs or digital terrain that are essential to gameplay may also be included in some lootboxes.

Murrmics require care. To keep their Murrmic alive, players need to feed it at least once every seven days. The Murrmic can become increasingly rare if a player feeds it on a frequent basis. The benefits during the TGE are better for rarities. Players have an incentive to remain involved and active in the game prior to the token launch thanks to this feature. It's a playful combination of cryptocurrency incentives and pet care that complements WorldShards' sandbox design.

A group of seasoned game developers called LowKick Studio is working on WorldShards. They have contributed to well-known games like Allods Online, Lineage 2, and World of Tanks. This brand-new game combines crafting, player-driven economics, and fantasy exploration. Its availability across several platforms contributes to its wider reach. The Open Loot platform, which is renowned for supporting other games like Big Time and the $OL token, is being used by the team in collaboration with Abu Dhabi Gaming.

Understanding the $SHARDS Token

The foundation of the WorldShards economy is the $SHARDS token. There is a five billion dollar cap on its entire supply. It is not reserved for private investors or the development team. Rather, the participants will receive the majority of the tokens. In-game awards account for 60% of the supply. This implies that players will receive direct rewards for exploring, crafting, and remaining engaged in the universe.

An additional 25% is allocated to ecosystem development and exchange liquidity. The remaining 15% goes for marketing and community development. Over the course of six years, all of the tokens will be gradually released. Avoiding abrupt value increases or decreases is made easier by this progressive release.
