This is the first worldwide event that is open to everyone using the Open Loot Launcher, including those without a Gnome Key. After completing the "Sea Food" quest and beginning the "FHA Exams," players can access the Cemetery map. Once inside, players can interact with gnomes and collect dahlia flowers, which, depending on their rarity, may drop larger numbers.

In addition to NFTs, Liquid Luck, and Gacha Tokens, the top 25 players on the leaderboard will receive a $1000 USDC prize pool. The Halloween Gnome is specific to this event and can only be earned by players ranking up to 500.

How to Play and Earn

To join the Dahlia Derby, players need to open the Events menu in-game and click “Participate.” Any Dahlia Flowers gathered before joining will not count toward the leaderboard. The goal is simple—collect as many Dahlia Flowers as possible by exploring the Cemetery, planting Dahlia Seeds, and using FROST Tools. These tools increase efficiency when gathering materials like wood, ore, or fish.

Players must also repair parts of the Cemetery and complete event quests to craft the Cauldron and the Scarecrow Gnome. Up to five Scarecrow Gnomes can be built and placed on a player’s farm to generate extra Dahlia Flowers.

This event is the first open-access opportunity since Moonfrost’s Early Access began. It’s unclear whether the game will stay open after November 3 or return to NFT-holder-only access. Until then, players can enjoy Moonfrost for free by downloading it through the Open Loot Launcher and collecting rewards before the event ends.
