Key Takeaways

  • Moku’s Booster Box presale for Grand Arena starts October 8 and runs for one week as a no-loss raffle.
  • The sale gives early players access to cards needed to compete in Grand Arena, which launches soon with a $1 million prize pool.
  • Moki NFTs will serve as AI athletes in the game, giving holders extra rewards and gameplay bonuses.

Moku’s Next Big Move

Moku has revealed that the Booster Box presale for Grand Arena will start on October 8 and last for one week. The event is structured as a no-loss raffle, meaning anyone who doesn’t win can later get their RON back. Players who plan to enter the Grand Arena will need cards to build their teams, and these cards are mainly found in Booster Boxes.

This news follows Moku’s Grand Arena reveal on September 22. The game is set to launch soon on Ronin with a massive $1 million prize pool for the first season.

Grand Arena is Moku’s latest platform combining AI-driven matches with daily fantasy gameplay. Instead of real-world athletes, players rely on AI agents known as Mokis. These digital competitors are originally collectible profile pic NFTs, but now they act as AI athletes in the game.

Players collect cards, set lineups, and compete on daily leaderboards. Rewards come in two forms: mXP for progression and ranking, and cash prizes from the $1 million pool. Players with higher Collector Scores will earn a larger share of the rewards.

Why the Booster Box Sale Is Important

Booster Boxes are essential to play Grand Arena. They contain Moki Cards, Schemes, and Promo Cards, which are all needed to build lineups. Each Booster Box includes 30 packs, and each pack holds 5 cards. These cards are tradable and will become usable once the game launches.

Buying Booster Boxes early gives players a big advantage. Moku says these boxes will contain higher-grade cards compared to what might later appear on secondary markets. For anyone planning to go hard in Season One, joining this presale could be key.

Booster Box Sale Details

The Booster Box sale runs in three stages: a no-loss raffle, a Second Chance Shop, and a refund period for unused tickets.

Phase 1 – No-Loss Raffle

Starts October 8 at 14:00 UTC and ends October 14 at 17:00 UTC. Players can deposit RON on Moku’s site to get raffle tickets. Each ticket gives a chance to win one of 7,777 Booster Boxes. In total, there are 8,887 boxes. Another 888 are in the Second Chance Shop, while 222 are set aside for the Moku team and creators. Players who don’t win can use their tickets in the next phase or get refunds later.

Phase 2 – Second Chance Shop

Opens October 15 at 14:00 UTC and closes October 17 at 17:00 UTC. Unused raffle tickets can be spent here on Gacha spins. Each spin guarantees a prize, which could be a Moki NFT, Champion Slot, Gym, or other in-game items.

Phase 3 – Refunds

From October 17 to October 20, players can claim full refunds for any unused tickets. Each ticket will be worth 100 RON, roughly $48 at current value.

Early Bird Rewards

Early participants will get special rewards. Anyone who joins the raffle within the first 24 hours will receive bonus entries for exclusive prizes. The first 100 depositors enter a draw for one Champion Slot and a Moki NFT. The top depositor will get a guaranteed Champion Slot.

There’s also a bigger raffle with prizes like three Champion Slots, three Lucky Eggs, and three Common Moki Eggs for all early participants.

All cards in Grand Arena are tradable after the game launches. Each card has a grade, and higher-grade cards usually offer stronger performance or more value. Moku has positioned Booster Boxes as the main way to get top-tier cards. While secondary trading will exist, these boxes could hold better rewards overall.

Moki NFTs are at the center of Grand Arena. These collectibles now serve as AI athletes that compete in the game. Owners earn extra mXP and rewards when their Mokis take part in matches. Mokis also earn royalties when they appear as champions, and their stats improve over time.

There are 8,888 Moki NFTs in total, originally sold through a no-loss raffle that brought in over $10 million worth of RON deposits. Moki owners have extra roles in gameplay, including champion selection and bonuses.
