An forthcoming idle battle game that is free to play is called MetalCore Arena. Teams of trainable units with distinct skills are assembled by the players. In league-based matches, modify formations and tactics to compete against other players. Over time, more league categories will be introduced.

What Is MetalCore Arena?

Idle battler MetalCore Arena is an engaging game. Players use customisable squads of infantry and mechanized troops to participate in league-based matches. Up to 20 participants can join or establish leagues. Engage in real-time combat with live commentary while using trainable units with special skills. Engage in friendly battles with other league participants up to three times a day. Before ranking matches, these skirmishes are excellent for testing out strategies. Win daily fights, compete on different leaderboards, raise your rating, improve your base, and become eligible for tournaments.

Updates will bring in new league categories. At debut, Capture the Flag is the primary game mode. Teams defend their own flag while capturing the opponent's. Assemble a squad to play defense and offensive. The strategic action will be enhanced by live commentary.

Analyzing and Improving Tactics

Analyze your opponent’s squad using the Intelligence Command Center. View detailed data from each match to improve your strategies. Early images show players using unit and vehicle cards to set up formations. You can create separate formations for attack and defense. Adjust team aggression and explore various tactical possibilities. Over time, units and vehicles get injured and damaged. Use resources to repair vehicles and heal units.

Use a variety of infantry combat units, each with unique abilities and attributes. New mechanized units and customization options will be added through updates. Improve units through training sessions to enhance their fitness, strategic abilities, and combat skills. Continuously enhance your roster while adding new units that fit your strategy. The training feature will be added in a later update.

Customize squads with specific formations and roles. Details on unit roles are not yet revealed. Players can expect detailed customization options to be available at launch.

Release Date and Features

The release date for MetalCore Arena is not yet announced. Current information is available in the official Discord server, initially used for the flagship shooter on Immutable zkEVM. The new project is likely to use the same blockchain.

At launch, expect core league-based gameplay, leaderboards, friendly matches, enemy squad data, match history, formations, tactics, and unit repairs. Future updates will add different league types, simulations, an in-game transfer market, garage improvements, foundational training for new recruits, and detailed profiles displaying owned assets.
