League of Kingdoms has announced a significant update involving its on-chain collections. These include skins, resources, and packages, now transitioning to AZ Chain. This change focuses on improving transaction speed and reducing costs for users. The move reflects the platform’s effort to strengthen its blockchain infrastructure for its growing community.

The update was officially revealed on January 21, 2025, through the League of Kingdoms X (Twitter) account. This migration leverages AZ Chain’s advanced features to enhance user experiences. By doing so, the platform simplifies blockchain interactions, making them more efficient for its audience.

New Smart Contracts on AZ Chain

As part of this update, League of Kingdoms has deployed new smart contracts tailored to the migrated collections. These include contracts for packages, resources, and skins. The contracts—LOKPackage, LOKResource, and LOKSkin—are now active, ensuring seamless integration into the AZ Chain network. This step guarantees that users can easily access their collections while benefiting from improved efficiency and lower costs.

Polygon-Based NFTs Remain Supported

The migration to AZ Chain introduces new opportunities while maintaining support for Polygon-based NFTs. Users can still use their Polygon NFTs without disruption. However, the platform has clarified that minting new NFTs will now take place exclusively on AZ Chain.

To assist users in this transition, League of Kingdoms has introduced a bridging solution. By bridging ETH to AZ Chain, players can join the updated ecosystem and explore the new blockchain features.

The migrated collections are available for trading on secondary markets such as TofuNFT. This ensures continued accessibility for users who wish to buy, sell, or trade skins, resources, and packages. Integrating these collections into AZ Chain highlights the platform’s commitment to maintaining user-friendly experiences during the transition.

To ease the migration process, League of Kingdoms is covering initial gas fees for up to 20,000 users. This initiative supports both players and NFT holders by reducing the financial burden of adapting to the new blockchain environment.

Detailed instructions on accessing this benefit are available on the platform’s Discord and missions page. This step reinforces League of Kingdoms’ focus on community support during the migration.

Migrating on-chain collections to AZ Chain is a major step for League of Kingdoms. The adoption of AZ Chain enhances transaction efficiency and positions the platform as a leader in web3 gaming. This update showcases the platform’s dedication to providing innovative solutions and staying ahead in the blockchain gaming landscape.
