Illuvium: Overworld Private Beta Release Date is here!

The Illuvium team has just announced the release date of the highly-anticipated Overworlds Private Beta over at Twitter. 

The game will feature vast open-world gameplay where you capture NFT collectible alien creatures called Iluvitars. It appears to be a massive upgrade from the auto-battle system Illuvium users are familiar with.

The team stated that servers for Illuvium: Arena will be offline for 4 hours as they deploy Overworlds Private Beta. Players won’t be able to access the game during this duration.

Players can access the game via invitations. You can register for access at the Illuvium website.  More open spots will be opening these coming weeks so don’t fret if you haven’t received one yet.

Illuvium: Overworlds Private Beta will be available on both Windows & Mac. The Beta release will be on December 12th at 7 PM UTC. The team has also just released developer gameplay footage where they walk us through the vibrant sci-fi worlds and mechanics of the coming game.

As seen from the gameplay, players won’t just be walking in the game. Movement is enhanced in a variety of ways like using a jetpack or jumping on holographic platforms.

What is Illuvium?

Illuvium is an Ethereum-based MMORPG NFT game available on PC. Players can explore sci-fi open worlds and capture NFT creatures called Illuvials in a form of a team fight.

Illuvium users can embark on daily quests, acquire in-game items, and trade their NFT collectibles in the marketplace as part of their daily activities. There are over 100 Illuvial NFTs that are separated into different affinities and classes.

In development since 2020, Illuvium is being developed by a worldwide team under co-founders Kieran Warwick and Aaron Warwick.
