Wild Forest Gameplay Overview

Games can be played as PvE or PvP. PvE games act as a tutorial to help players get up to speed. PvP matches are the main way to play. The team plans to introduce raiding in the future, likely as a PvE mode.Each player starts with a base and animal used to cast spells and add units and structures. Mines can be placed at resource areas on the map to produce more animal.

Matches are played on a randomly generated, single-screen map with both destructible and indestructible obstacles. The map cycles through day and night. During the day, players can see the whole map, while at night, they can only see their assets.

At launch, there are four structures: a base, a mine, barracks and a tower. The base starts in play and if its HP falls to zero, you lose the game. The mine increases animal generation, the barracks produce units and the tower can attack enemies and increase the player's view at night. Spells can be used during the match and require a cooldown before being used again. Matches have a five-minute timer; if time expires, both players' bases start to lose HP.

24 units in three tiers: 

• Tier 1 units are the cheapest and can be summoned by any barracks. 
• Tier 2 units require upgraded barracks and have medium strength and cost. 
• Tier 3 units are the most expensive and strongest and can only be summoned by fully upgraded barracks.

Each deck can have seven units: 03 tier one, 03 tier two, and 01 tier three.

Building a cohesive team that covers weaknesses and works well together is key to winning games. This creates value in having access to a variety of Spell and Unit NFTs.

Unit NFTs with the same attributes can be merged to increase their rarity. Epic and Legendary units get perks like "reflects 5% damage" or becoming invulnerable for 1 second when HP is below 50% (with a 60-second cooldown). Perks vary, but Legendary Perks can be re-rolled by merging two of the same Legendary NFTs. Unit NFTs can also be leveled up through gameplay, increasing their strength at their current rarity.

The Rewards

The Wild Forest reserved 2.5% of the total $WF tokens to reward the top 8000 players and an additional 2000 random eligible participants. Tokens will be distributed based on your position on the Scoreboard. The higher you rank, the more $WF tokens you’ll earn. Tokens will be delivered after the season as off-chain $WF, which you can convert to on-chain $WF on TGE.
