The characters in Lost Dogs are represented by Lost Dogs NFTs, first released on Getgems in March 2023. These NFTs evolve as the story progresses, gaining unique abilities and becoming celebrities in the game. The goal is to attract a broad audience through engaging storytelling and gameplay.

In Lost Dogs, players can earn two types of tokens: Notcoins (NOT) and WOOF. Each day, players make choices that affect their dogs' stories. The winning choice depends on various factors like popularity or median decision among all players. Winners receive shares of NOT tokens from a general pool and can mine WOOF tokens through successful rounds and actions in the game. While WOOF is currently an in-game currency, it might be converted into an on-chain token in the future, similar to NOT tokens.

Lost Dogs features rounds where players choose from three cards representing scenarios in the game. They bet their BONES points on a card to increase its popularity. The round's goal varies, including determining the most popular or least popular card based on BONES accumulated. Players receive new BONES points each round and can boost their points by inviting friends, holding Lost Dogs NFTs, and exchanging NOT tokens for BONES. Winners earn NOT and WOOF tokens, with rewards based on BONES points wagered and the round's outcome.
