My Pet Hooligan Marketplace V1 

AMGI Studios has officially launched the first version of the My Pet Hooligan native marketplace. This marketplace serves as a platform where players can trade Hooligans and Zuckbot NFTs using the in-game token, $KARRAT. Previously, these NFT collections were only tradable with ETH, but now, players have a more accessible way to get these assets. One of the big perks of this marketplace is that trading these original NFT collections comes with no fees or royalties, which is great for users looking to maximize their transactions.

While this initial version only supports Hooligans and Zuckbots, the studio has bigger plans for the marketplace. According to an official announcement, they want to turn this marketplace into a web3 hub for both collectors and players. Future plans include adding time-gated drops, exclusive wearables, unlocks, and emotes. You can also expect benefits for those who actively use the platform. The team aims to make the marketplace more user-friendly by adding features like rentals, card payments, and subscription models, making it accessible to everyone, even those unfamiliar with blockchain technology.

The marketplace allows you to make transactions by connecting your wallet holding $KARRAT tokens on the Ethereum network. For now, it’s a straightforward platform where you can browse items, check their prices, and sort them by collection or NFT traits. One helpful feature is the shopping cart, which lets you buy multiple NFTs in bulk, streamlining the process. Although this version is simple, it lays the groundwork for future updates, with the focus currently on making NFT transactions as seamless as possible.

Standard Features to Expect in the Future

While this first version is functional, the team has promised to introduce standard marketplace features over time. Some of these include:

• Trait Viewing: This feature makes it simpler to recognize valuable assets by allowing you to observe the qualities and rarity of NFTs.

• Charts and Market Trends: Visual charts will help you track how the value of various NFTs fluctuates over time, helping you spot market trends.
• Search Functionality: A search feature will make it easier to find specific NFTs.
• Card Payments: A big step towards onboarding web2 gamers, this feature will allow purchases without the need for crypto tokens.

In addition to these standard features, AMGI Studios has also teased some exciting plans. Subscription services that are crypto-native are on the way, although details are still under wraps. Rentals will be introduced as well, allowing holders to rent their NFTs to players for a set period. The studio also aims to lower blockchain complexities by introducing gas abstraction and sponsorship, meaning you won’t need to hold multiple tokens to complete transactions. Lastly, there’s something called StreetKred that has been teased but not fully explained. In the game, players earn Street Kred as in-game currency to upgrade abilities and gear, so there’s speculation that this could be integrated into the marketplace to offer more in-game perks.

While the developers continue to improve the marketplace, you can still enjoy My Pet Hooligan, a desktop PvP video game built in Unreal Engine 5.0 as a free-to-play game. The game recently got a major update called Double Tap: Pt Deux, enhancing the gameplay experience.
