In January 2025, whitelisted players can join the Cliffside playtest for the top-down extraction shooter Engines of Fury. Engines of Fury January Playtest Overview

The playtest will feature $FURY token rewards, a limited NFT collection, and on-chain quests. The game integrates Immutable Passport technology, offering non-custodial wallet creation and an easy sign-in process. Players might have the opportunity to mint in-game assets, giving them full ownership of the items they collect and use.

The gameplay trailer teases an intense mission set in a post-apocalyptic wasteland. Players will collaborate to infiltrate Air Force Base 42, facing a limited-time challenge to extract successfully with their loot. The mission includes dynamic day-and-night gameplay, where players fight off waves of monsters using weapons and abilities strategically.

During this Act II of Season 1, participants will collect materials to craft weapons, armor, and other items. Character customization is another key feature, with options to allocate points to attributes like Strength and Agility, tailoring your build to suit your style.

Details about the prize pool are yet to be announced. However, $FURY tokens will be up for grabs. In a previous playtest held in October, 25k $FURY tokens were allocated to the top 50 players. A similar or possibly larger reward pool might be expected this time.
