Following the success of the Guild of Guardians launch, Immutable zkEVM welcomes Boomland Games. Hunters On-Chain, a free-to-play, action-based fantasy brawler, is set to relaunch on Immutable. This migration brings a play-to-airdrop campaign with over 250 million BOOM tokens available over two months.
BOOM is the primary token for Boomland Games. It will be useful in all Boomland projects. For now, it's primarily used in Hunters On-Chain, with both in-game and out-of-game applications.
Details of the Play to Airdrop Campaign
The campaign has two seasons, each lasting one month. Season one starts in June. Boomland is making this a play-focused event. Players earn points by completing Badges, finishing Quests, and referring new players. Badges are one-time achievements, like owning specific hunters or dealing a certain amount of damage to Kevin the Dragon. Quests are daily tasks, and referrals are straightforward. Unlike other campaigns, there’s no need for social media engagement like Discord events or re-tweeting.Everyone starts on equal footing in this first play-to-airdrop event. Existing Hunter NFTs cannot be used. The game is free for all, starting with a common, free Hunter. Players use this Hunter to earn points and eventually acquire a premium Hunter. There are three ways to get a premium Hunter. First, hold Genesis Hunters in your wallet by the snapshot on May 27th, 3pm UTC. Players get one Premium Hunter for each Genesis Hunter they hold. Second, participate and win in various contests and giveaways during the campaign. Third, trade or purchase one on the open market.
What is Hunters On-Chain?
Hunters On-Chain is a fantasy, top-down, casual, PVE action game with different game modes. In PvE, each match features four players fighting monsters and leveling up. In Hunt mode, matches last for two minutes, and the top spot goes to the player with the most experience or the last survivor. Players start at level 1 with full hit points, gaining experience and leveling up by killing monsters and collecting stars. Leveling up allows players to choose between two semi-random promotions, including power-ups and special abilities.
As the match progresses, monsters get tougher, requiring players to stay active and level up. A healing square at the center of the map offers a strategic point for recovery. Other game modes include Boss Hunt, where players defeat a Boss dragon, and Bounty Hunter, a 10-character free-for-all with no level-ups during the match.
Players earn BGEM tokens by playing matches. They can use BGEM to purchase chests with random artifacts and hunter shards or swap them for BOOM tokens. BOOM tokens and Hunter Shards are needed to level up Hunters.
How to Play Hunters On-Chain
Hunters On-Chain is accessible through a webpage or the official app on Android and iOS devices. This ease of access ensures that players can join the fun and compete for rewards wherever they are.
