Arena-Z: A New Chapter for League of Kingdoms

League of Kingdoms, the first blockchain-based MMORTS to go global, has rebranded as Arena-Z. This change isn’t just cosmetic. It signals a shift from a single game to a connected gaming franchise. Arena-Z is now building a platform of games tied together through one chain. It introduces a new native token, multiple new game titles, and a $20 million fund to support creators.

Arena-Z is building a new web3 model. Instead of playing one game at a time, players can now carry their progress across several games. These games will be linked through the Arena-Z Chain, built on Optimism Layer-2, part of the OP Superchain. This setup means faster, cheaper, and smoother interactions.

The first two new titles are LOK Chronicle and LOK Hunters. Chronicle is a dungeon RPG. Hunters is an idle RPG. Players can use the same heroes, NFTs, and achievements in both. They don’t need to start over. Their effort in one game helps them grow in another.

Han Yoo, COO of 3MERGED, explained the vision.League of Kingdoms demonstrated the viability of cryptocurrency gaming. The game demonstrated true longevity with five million players over five years. However, one game is insufficient. Interconnected worlds are the way of the future. games in which identity, items, and progress are shared.

The original League of Kingdoms, LOK Chronicle, and LOK Hunters are the three primary games available in Arena-Z. They can be jumped between by players. They take their accomplishments with them. Everything can be tracked and transferred between games thanks to blockchain technology.

Introducing the A2Z Token

With this shift comes a new token. A2Z will replace the old LOKA token. Starting July 28 at 03:00 UTC, players can swap LOKA for A2Z at a 1:20 ratio. Binance and HTX already support the swap. More exchanges are likely to join.

A2Z will carry over LOKA’s functions. It also adds new features like cross-game rewards, player IDs, and voting power in platform decisions. It’s not just a token for one game anymore. It’s for the whole Arena-Z platform.

Alongside the token, Arena-Z is launching AZZY. AZZY is a digital buddy that grows with players. It shows a user’s journey across games. It tracks progress, achievements, and activities. Players can start using AZZY on the official site.

Arena-Z has set up a $20 million Ecosystem Grant Program. The fund will support game developers and creators who want to build on the Arena-Z platform. The money comes from staking and ecosystem reserves.

The team wants to help builders who focus on user-friendly, web3-powered gameplay. Their Asian roots give them strong ties to top gaming studios. Confirmed partners already include XOCIETY, Pebble City, and The New Order (TNO).

Arena-Z is the first game-focused Layer 2 on the OP Superchain. This gives it fast, cheap, and Ethereum-compatible transactions. It’s also the only Korea-based gaming platform backed by both Binance and Coinbase. These partnerships show trust from major exchanges.

The team also recently partnered with NHN, one of South Korea’s leading gaming companies. This move adds more support from the traditional gaming world.

League of Kingdoms launched in 2020. It was among the first crypto games to reach a wide audience. It had 150,000 daily users across 210 countries. Big names in crypto and VC backed it, including a16z crypto, Hashed, and Yield Guild Games.

Players built kingdoms, formed alliances, and battled in continent-wide wars. Votes shaped world politics. LOKA tokens rewarded those who controlled Ancient Temples. Real strategy met real ownership.

NFTs also played a big role. LAND NFTs gave owners passive income. DRAGO NFTs mined a special resource called Dragon Soul Amber. SKIN, RESOURCE, and PACKAGE NFTs added customization and event rewards.

LOK Chronicle is a dungeon crawler where adventurers defend civilians. It uses the same NFTs and tokens as the original game. LOK Hunters is an idle game where players level up heroes and collect gear. Even when players are offline, progress continues.

Both games are still in beta. Full launches are expected soon. These are the first steps toward a bigger dream. Arena-Z wants to become a platform for many games. Games that connect through shared tokens, assets, and identity.

Final Thought

Arena-Z is no longer just a game. It’s now a full platform built for ownership, progression, and web3 connection. Players can explore, grow, and earn across multiple titles. With strong partners, new tools, and a clear vision, Arena-Z is ready to shape the next phase of crypto gaming.
