Silks NFT Game

The Silks project is the first derivative gaming platform that aims to combine the world of metaverse with the real world of thoroughbred horseracing. It is also bringing with itself a collection of 10,000 Silks Genesis Avatars in horse racing suits, too, for a more immersive experience. While other metaverse projects are trying to shift the world into physical or virtual, the Game of Silks is a smart move, which complements both ends of this world quite smartly. Silks aim to bring the excitement of real-world horse racing into the metaverse.

What is Silks NFT Game?

A P2E metaverse game similar to the MMORPG Tatsumeeko, Silks offers a virtual world where players can experience the thrill of owning purebred racehorses. In the game, players can purchase, trade, and interact with a variety of in-game NFT assets, including Silks Avatar, Silks Horse, Land, and Stable. More importantly, players can earn Tokens by demonstrating their gaming skills and contributing to the Silks ecosystem.

What makes Silks unique?

Silks truly unique is that each Silks Horse is directly linked to a real-world thoroughbred horse. Through this innovative approach, Silks Horse then tracks real-time data related to bloodlines, training progress and racing results of real-world competitors.

How many Silks NFT are there?

Silks Thoroughbred Racehorses:
The thoroughbred racehorses are the essence of the entire Silks ecosystem. As soon as a real racehorse is born and registered, Silks will create a digital clone of the same. Owning a racehorse within the ecosystem makes the game more immersive and allows players to earn too.

Silks Avatars:
Silks Avatars are a player’s identity within the ecosystem. Every Skills Avatar consists of a combination of colors, patterns, and attributes that create a unique crest. This crest acts like a brand’s logo and usually appears on all their assets, such as the farm, stables, and the racehorse’s blankets too.

Silks Farms:
Farms in the Silks metaverse are unique and versatile. It can be a general farm or even a breeding farm and can have its own marketplace featuring the horses. The other players can buy, or bid on the racehorses directly from the farm owners.

Silks Stable:
The stables are required for the racehorses and to develop a farm. Stables have unique aesthetics and attribute that players can work on and are visible. There is a rewards-based stabling fee that is to be paid. Whenever your horse ends up winning, a certain percentage is paid “in kind” through the earnings. However, there is no cost involved if the racehorse hasn’t been earned.

Silks Land:
There are 202,500 one-acre parcels of land available in the Silks ecosystem that are as important as the horses. Land development involves building farms, developing lands, and even an option to expand farms with contiguous land pieces.

Silks Gameplay Overview

Users will be eligible to get their hands on an NFT horse by owning a Racing Silks NFT (avatar), which we will talk about in a while. The Horse mint is set to be in mid-2022, representing the 20,000 yearlings born in 2021.

Horse Breeding Work: If a horse is successful at racing, it may be retired at some point to become a broodmare or a stallion. When these horses breed, the blockchain recognizes the owner and rewards them with a distribution of $SST equal to a % of the sale price the foal (one-year-old horse) was purchased.

Horse Staking Mechanism: Like the real world, horses in Silks need money to feed, train, and house. So, staking it into a third-party Silks Stable, which is optional, gives the owner a % of the horse’s overall rewards. That also offers the chance to private stable owners to get a % of all earnings from the staked horses.

How to make money in Silks?

Every time a racehorse wins a race or gives birth in the real world, the owner of the respective Silks Horse will earn tokens. These tokens have the common name $STT - the transaction code in the game Silks. Players can use the $STT token to purchase in-game items in the marketplace, including Silks Avatar, Silks Horse, Land, and Stable.
