Who are the developers of Petopia?

The Mirai Labs team specializes in Web3 Game Development, with members located all around the globe. Their flagship game “Pegaxy” was founded in February 2021, and since then the team has been able to onboard over 70 full-time staff across various roles, including Product Owners, Game Designers, Economists, Blockchain Developers, Unity Developers, HR, Customer Support, User Acquisition and more. This growth reflects the dynamic and diverse nature of Mirai Labs' endeavors.

How does Petopia work?

1. Hero classes
- As you dive into the game, there's a chance to gather up to five unique hero classes: sniper, assassin, tank, fighter, or support. Each class brings its own flavor to the battlefield with distinct skill-based attributes and a unique skill set.
- Sniper: experts of long-range attacks. Expect high damage, but keep in mind they're not the sturdiest. Their skills are geared towards maximizing damage and agility.
- Assassin: close combat specialists with a knack for high damage and agility. Though their defense is relatively low, their forte lies in executing surprise attacks.
- Tank: positioned for close combat, tanks might not dish out massive damage, but they're your fortress with high defense, health, and recovery capabilities.
- Fighter: thriving in close combat, fighters strike a balance between high damage, average defense, and health. They boast versatile offensive and defensive capabilities.
- Fupport: hanging back with ranged attacks, support brings average damage to the table. What sets them apart are skills designed to benefit the entire team.

2. Equipment and upgrading:
- Success in the game hinges on tactical brilliance and the strategic use of equipment. Weapons are divided into two primary types: ranged weapons (like pistols, assault rifles, and shotguns) and close combat weapons (including dagger, batons, and needles).
- Equipping weapons not only amps up damage but also opens the door to upgrades and fusing items in your arsenal. Upgrading enhances a weapon's stats, while fusing it with another of the same category boosts rarity and the upgrade limit.
- Beyond weapons, various other equipmentgloves, armor, boots, accessories, storage bags, and petscome with unique stats that enhance your hero's abilities. Much like weapons, they follow the upgrade and fusion mechanism.
- There are five distinct equipment sets: adventure, police, dancer, assassin, and robot. Bonus tiphaving two items from the same set elevates your hero's stats.
