MARS4 NFT Game
MARS4 is an interactive 3D Metaverse divided into land plots, each represented by a unique NFT. The MARS4 project's development team has modelled the detailed 3D map of Mars' terrain after NASA's Mars data. Think of it as the Mars equivalent of the Google Earth 3D map. Each plot with its topographical form based on this data sets the area of play for the Mars4 Play-2-Earn game, turning each unique NFT into a playable and interactable zone on the virtual Mars.
What makes MARS4 unique?
Mars4's unique strengths are based on two core concepts: Quality and Interactivity. Land NFTs are sculpted to match the topography of their real-life counterpart on Mars, each providing an enormous self-governed space. Vehicle NFTs can be driven, across public lands or your own, used to explore and play in a world-class NFT game. This level of quality and interactivity extends on to Colonists (who take the whole of player avatars on the surface of 3D Mars), pets, and gear. You don't simply own an NFT on Mars, you enjoy a living, breathing world within which your assets can work passively and actively for your benefit and enjoyment.

How does MARS4 work?
- Mars4 divides the entire surface of the red planet into land plots that can be owned, played on, and explored. Each land plot corresponds to a topographically accurate section of the Martian surface that forms an interconnected planetary whole.
- Players take control of their Martian assets in the form of colonists who are engaged in the struggle for survival, eking out a living as their mine regolith, survey regions, refine waters and plant crops, and built their own colony.
- Additionally, players also manage the same assets via a companion app 'the Mars Control Center' allowing for trading, management, and passive play that complements the active immersive colonist game.
MARS4 Gameplay Overview
Mars4 sees players take the role of colonists and colony managers as they settle on the surface of the red planet. The task is by no means easy as Mars is a hostile environment to humanity. As colonists form colonies and create communities to work together in the full multiplayer game, they will also compete for resources, harvest resources, and create goods and materials for trade. Â
It is a PVE game that rewards players for their grasp of the core survival mechanics, their exploration, and their knowledge of logistics and organisation. Each player creates their own value as they take charge of the future on Mars4
How to make money in MARS4?
In Mars4, there are many routes by which a player or NFT owner can earn money. NFT assets such as colonists and vehicles are able to be bought and sold via the Mars Control Center ('MCC') marketplace, allowing players to earn passively. Additionally, vehicles may be rented out to other players via the MCC allowing them to explore and exploit their lands, and passively mine resources for use either in the 3D game or for trading via the P2P marketplace. Â
Additionally, colonists and MCC-players compete with each other on a leaderboard known as the 'Productivity Score.' A players' productivity score is a function of their owned NFTs and items. This in turn is used to calculate how much of the community pool's distributions are received by that player.
