What is Immortal Game Game?
Immortals are stylish NFTs that represent specific chess pieces, of which between one and four can be strategically placed among a player’s standard setup before the match begins.
Their introduction unlocks an entirely new level of engagement and excitement as each Immortal is linked to a quest.
These challenges come in the form of micro and macro quests, with the former representing specific piece challenges (such as using the Immortal queen to capture an opponent’s piece first or checkmating with an Immortal knight), and the latter general challenges (such as winning the match in under 40 moves or being the first player to capture 3 pieces).
Completing these quests will unlock valuable Immortal Points (IP), which in turn will allow individuals to place higher on the weekly leaderboard. Winners of the week will earn a selection of brilliant prizes, such as $IGE or $CMT tokens, traditional cryptocurrencies, new immortal pieces, or even our popular mystery boxes.
What makes Immortal Game unique?
Immortal Game keeps the same rules as chess and adds new challenges linked to chess pieces. These challenges are called quests.
Rewards are awarded for playing and winning Immortal Game matches. The more you play, win, and rank high on the IP or AP Leaderboards, the more rewards you get.
We will be adding many more features to the Immortal Game experience in time, such as the release of our $IGE token, allowing players to own a stake in the game.
We also plan to release many new burn mechanisms for the $CMT token, such as fusing and leveling up your Immortals, and changing quests on your Ageless pieces, but also gaining entry rights to tournaments, reserving lessons with top chess players in our Academy, and much more!
How many Immortal Game NFT are there?
Immortals NFT: Immortals are purchasable and tradable NFTs representing chess pieces (Pawn, Knight, Bishop, Rook, Queen, King). Each Immortal has specific side quest players will try to fulfill during games. Immortals are transferrable and let you rank on the IP Leaderboard. Immortals have different elements and purity levels.
Ageless NFT: Ageless are free chess pieces (Pawn, Knight, Bishop, Rook, Queen, King). Every player receives their first Ageless piece when they register their account on Immortal Game, and the following five when they win games by completing their previous Ageless piece quest.
Classic NFT: You can play with a maximum of 4 Immortals and/or Ageless. The rest of the pieces on your board are classic chess pieces.
These pieces don’t have any quest attached to them. When you play in the "Standard" mode, all your pieces will be classic pieces, with no quest attached.
