Ember Sword is a social sandbox MMORPG taking place in a player-driven universe where the adventure finds you. Built by a team of imaginative artists, engineers, and game designers, Ember Sword offers a unique community-led and frictionless PvP and PVE player experience and allows true ownership of digital gaming assets using blockchain technology.

The Bright Star Studio is developing an expansive MMORPG with tons of focus on the social aspect before anything else. The game gives off this sensation from the moment you look at it, with a lot of similarities in their vision with The Treeverse.
Ember Sword takes place on the moon of Thanabus is split into 4 Nations: Solarwood, Duskeron, Edisau and Sevrend. Each nation consists of 3 types of territories: Kingship, Wilderness, and Outlaw. Kingship territories will be reserved for PvE, resource collection, NPC interactions, bosses, and quests. These territories will be governed by our thriving community, spread over a vast, evolving landscape. Wilderness territories will primarily be PvE areas.
One of the major unique points of Ember Sword is how it adopts a classless approach. Similar to Mirandus, the game allows you to choose the path you want. Whether it is being a trader, forage rare resource, or become the town's ultimate warrior, all of them are options available for you to choose from. Not only that, it allows players to combine their own unique set of usable abilities unlocked by using a vast variety of weapons.

Gear and Weapon
There are three planned weapon types; melee, ranged, and energy. Within each type, there will be a variety of different weapons, like 1-handed swords, two-handed swords etc. for melee, and likewise for ranged and energy weapons. The more you use each weapon type, the more you will level it up, which unlocks new abilities as you progress throughout the game.
On top of weapons, there are tons of gear for your Ember Sword character to choose from. The game makes it incredibly difficult to choose one and just stick to it as each piece of gear gives you advantages in certain situations depending on the type of enemy or region you are in.
There will be 3 types of armor: Heavy (plate), Medium (leather), and Light (cloth), and you will be able to mix and match these different sets to fit your preferred play style. Each armor type will provide a bonus appropriate to that particular type.

How to Get Started
Ember Sword is currently under development with no specified date for its release. The studio releases regular development updates, showcasing different features and improvements to certain mechanics.
For now, Land and Badge NFT owners are promised to be included in any upcoming feature tests or early access builds. Both NFTs are available for purchase through Opensea.
