Who are the developers of Dremica?
MMORPGs have been a passion of the team for the past 20 years. Though they jokingly consider themselves below-average players they do admit to being hardcore dedicated Runescape players at heart. The vision for Dremica was born in 2021 when the team had a vision of an MMORPG that would be on Web3. Something they did not see happening in the space. Their desire to create their own MMORPG is a natural progression of their passions and united skills. They knew that putting an MMORPG on the chain would be the feature of Web3 Gaming. To ensure that Dremica is not only a leader but a game changer in the field, they have now made it their full-time career.
How does Dremica work?
- Player vs Player: Dremica features PvP with open-world dueling and biome-specific PvP similar to Runescape's wilderness system, where players risk losing items if killed. Organized PvP includes battlegrounds and arenas akin to World of Warcraft, offering rankings and PvP-specific rewards.
- Player vs Environment: Players face various challenges, from gathering wood to battling NPC monsters. There are 19 skills to level up, accommodating both PvP and non-PvP playstyles.
- Character Leveling XP: XP is gained through completing tasks, defeating enemies, and other activities, allowing characters to unlock gear, resources, skills, biomes, and content. Progression in Dremica follows a standard linear path.
- The Reaper Skill: The Reaper skill allows players to defeat tougher NPCs. By receiving assignments to slay specific monsters, players earn Reaper XP, which is necessary to unlock and defeat high-level NPCs.
