What makes AlgoSeas unique?
AlgoSeas is the first fully functioning NFT game with no foreseeable cap on the number of NFTs. We have been live for 9 months and currently have over 22,000 NFTs with more being minted each day! Pirate NFTs can be upgraded with $DUB or they can level up using XP earned in-game!
AlgoSeas is also the first game on Algorand that pays out Algo directly to the winners of the game. The top Doubloon earner in a 24-hour period is crowned the Pirate King and wins 18% of all the money spent on the game during that period.
How many AlgoSeas NFT are there?
Primary NFT - AlgoSeas Pirates
As of December 2022 there are 22,000+ NFTs with no cap in sight. NFTs can be minted on demand with $DUB and there is no limit, this makes it a very inclusive game with a low barrier to entry. Each pirate gets minted with 4 core stats (combat, constitution, luck, and plunder) chosen from a normal distribution centered at 50. The majority of pirates will have stats between 35 and 65. Pirates can have their stats upgraded by playing the game or by paying to upgrade them. Pirates with higher stats are more rare, there are a few pirates that have achieved 100 combat & 100 constitution and they are the most rare.
Secondary NFT - AlgoSeas Basic Skulls (In-game Item)
You can extract the skull of dead pirates and get their skulls as an NFT. You are free to trade these on a secondary marketplace or take them to the "Witch Doctor" who can provide you magical boosts in exchange of your skulls.
