What is 1-UP Game?
A blockchain-based 2D eSports game platform that lets users fight it out for in-game rewards.
Style is based on beloved classic games like Mario, Contra, Featuring 1 v 1, 2 v 2, Team Deathmatch and Battle Royale modes. The project will launch an NFT marketplace and content creation tools to allow users to create custom level designs, characters, skins etc and mint them as NFTs.
What makes 1-UP unique?
1-UP is a web3 gaming platform developing classic, retro-style games that are designed to draw in the largest possible user base and keep them playing. Our game engine is a 2D platform battler with gameplay similar to Mario and Contra with the ability to customize your characters with NFTs. 1-UP token and NFT integration will be fundamental to our reward system featuring play-to-earn, win-to-earn, build-to-earn, and guild-to-earn opportunities. It is implicit in our mission that someone’s first time using 1-UP may also be their first time downloading or using Metamask or another DeFi wallet.
When it is time to cash out, it will likely be their first time using Uniswap. We aim to be a “soft introduction” to the DeFi space. Rather than having to persuade anyone to learn about crypto, we will gently push them in its direction and allow it to happen organically. Additionally, our custom engines will allow NFT products to have their images uploaded and built into the game. This allows easy community building, fresh looks, and further utility for otherwise limited NFT projects. Our beta version of the Retro World theme is playable on PC, Mac, and Android mobile.
How many 1-UP NFT are there?
Gen 1 NFTs will feature playable characters based on your favorite memes in the internet and blockchain universe. The 1st gen mint will have the opportunity to hold pNFTs that reward holders with a percent of in-game revenue.
