Voya Games Brings Craft World to Ronin This Summer

Craft World is a fully on-chain resource management game that Voya Games has announced would formally launch on the Ronin blockchain this summer. Voya has made significant progress in creating a network of interconnected web3 games with this launch. Initially known as Angry Dynomites Labs, Craft World was tested on the Polygon testnet. The game had over 240,000 wallets participate throughout that period. Both mobile and online users could access it.

Craft World is a fully on-chain idle game built on the blockchain. Over 25 different kinds of materials are gathered and exchanged by players. Each resource has an ERC20 token associated with it. Although the game is easy to play, it has several layers of complexity. These materials are used by players to gather, craft, and improve. Voya's larger goal of building a network of blockchain games that are connected by common game rules and digital economies includes Craft World as a key component.

Dyno Coin: The Fuel Behind Craft World

The primary utility token in Craft World is called Dyno Coin. It is used to upgrade game equipment and trade resources, and it has no supply cap. Public purchases of Dyno Coin are not available. Rather, it will be earned by players in a different game called Project Voyager. A more community-based method of earning rewards is provided by this game.

In the online game Project Voyager, users engage in social chores and mission completion. Players can win crystals by doing these things. Characters and other game elements can be upgraded by players using crystals. The number of Dyno Coins that each player receives is also determined by crystals. The season of the game will last for four weeks. Once the Polygon testnet version of Craft World is over, it will switch to the Ronin mainnet version.

Craft World was introduced to Ronin by Voya Games for several reasons. Ronin's long-term strength and steady growth have been seen. In addition, it boasts a thriving community and a good reputation. Voya CEO Oliver Löffler claims that Ronin provides a safe environment for blockchain game development. The platform, he said, isn't made for fleeting trends. Long-term, high-quality growth is encouraged. This is important for Voya's objective of making games that are truly durable.

Jeff Zirlin, co-founder of Sky Mavis, the team behind Ronin, spoke about the partnership. He pointed out that Craft World doesn’t rely only on in-game purchases for revenue. Instead, the game uses in-game ads to support its economy. This is different from many other web3 games. It allows Craft World to build a more stable and fair system for players. Zirlin believes this model shows how web3 games can grow without putting all the cost on the player.

Craft World is more than just a game. It is part of a wider system that connects players, assets, and games through blockchain. With the launch on Ronin, Voya is taking the next step in its plan to offer fun, connected, and lasting web3 experiences. Players can follow along by checking out Voya’s official website or reading its litepaper for more detailed information.

The summer release on Ronin brings new excitement to the web3 game space. With its unique approach to token distribution and its focus on long-term value, Craft World is shaping up to be a fresh option for players looking for something different in the world of crypto gaming and NFTs.
