Sorare Football has revealed its December events calendar, promising a packed schedule of competitions alongside the final November event, "November’s Last Surprise." Fans can expect at least two special events for every Game Week in December, alongside the regular tournaments. These events offer varying prize pools, distributed as cash or $ETH.

The "In-Season European Champions Specialist" runs from November 26th to 29th during Game Week 30. This competition features a total prize pool of $20,000, rewarded in cash or $ETH. Participants need four Limited/Rare in-season cards and three Super Rare/Unique in-season cards.

To qualify, only players participating in UEFA Champions League (UCL) games are eligible. Lineups can include a maximum of two players from the same team. Each team must have at least two players with an L15 average below 50 and only one with an L15 average above 60. Participants can submit up to two lineups for this event.

December Highlights: Anti-Stacks Christmas Classic

December’s highlight is the "Anti-Stacks Christmas Classic," featuring a $50,000 prize pool distributed in cash or $ETH. The Anti-Stack format requires each of the five players in your lineup to be from different teams. There are no restrictions on card types, allowing participants to use cards from any season. Each player can submit only one lineup.

December also includes recurring All-Star specials held midweek, alongside two surprise events: the Secret Special and the Community Vote.

  • Secret Special: Scheduled for Game Week 37 (December 20th – 24th), details will be revealed closer to the event.
  • Community Vote: Sorare will let managers suggest and vote on the final special event of the year through Twitter/X. The suggestion with the most likes will become the event format.

Other events in December, like European Specials, require at least four in-season cards. Most competitions allow up to two lineups, with European Nights permitting three.

How to Play Sorare

Sorare is a blockchain-powered fantasy sports platform featuring officially licensed player cards from football leagues, the NBA, and MLB. The platform offers a free experience using non-NFT Common Cards or through Sorare Rivals, a mobile-friendly game. However, competitive events and rewards require owning NFT Pro Cards.

Pro Cards are released in limited quantities each season and come in four rarities. These cards allow players to join various competitions, offering prizes such as NFT rewards, cash, $ETH, and even signed merchandise. Each competition has specific requirements for team composition, so it’s essential to check the rules before participating.

To start playing, create an account on Sorare’s website. You can buy and sell digital player cards from top leagues like the Premier League and Bundesliga. ETH funds can be added or withdrawn via MetaMask or services like Moonpay and Ramp. Alternatively, you can set up a Cash Wallet for transactions in USD, EUR, or GBP.

Activating the Cash Wallet requires basic user information and a government-issued ID. Players can seamlessly manage their funds through bank transfers or credit/debit cards, making it easy to join the competition and earn rewards.
