Season 1: Ogre Hunt Begins in Tollan Survivors

Season 1: Ogre Hunt, the blockchain-powered 2D roguelite game Tollan Survivors, has been formally released by Tollan Universe. This season comes with new mechanics, more action, and exclusive rewards. Players will now face tougher Ogres in fast-paced battles, where every decision could impact their rank and earnings.

Season 1 runs from May 25 to June 8. During this time, players jump into blue portals to start hunting Ogres that spawn from red portals. The goal is to collect Tusks, the event points used to climb the leaderboards. However, if you get defeated during a run, all the Tusks you gathered will be lost. You must escape through another blue portal to safely bank your Tusks.

Speed plays a big role. The faster you defeat the Ogres, the more bonus points you earn. The twist? The portals move every time a new Ogre shows up. Players are forced to adjust quickly and maintain their focus during the run as a result.

Returning from Season 0 are two familiar leaderboards: the Cumulative Leaderboard and the Peak Run Leaderboard. A new addition this season is the Daily Leaderboard.

• Cumulative Leaderboard tracks your total Tusks earned across the entire season.
• Peak Run Leaderboard focuses on your best single run. It calculates your score based on performance, and Crystal multipliers help boost your results.
• Daily Leaderboard gives bonus points to the top 20 players each day. To qualify, you must complete 10 runs that day. Devoted players have more opportunities to win prizes because this leaderboard is reset every day at 12:00 AM UTC.

USDC Prize Pool and Player Contributions

Alongside leaderboard rewards, players can also earn from a player-funded USDC prize pool. The pool started at $3000 USDC and reached over $4500 in just 24 hours. The more Crowns players spend, the larger the prize pool becomes.

70% of profits from Crown purchases go straight into the pool. To get a share, you need to collect at least $10 worth of Tusks. Rewards will be sent to registered wallets on Arbitrum. Claims for USDC prizes will open one week after the season ends. One day before the commencement of Season 2, leaderboard rewards will be delivered.

You must purchase a Gold Pass in order to take part. You start with 10 Crystals and it costs 500 Crowns. Additionally, you get five free Crystals every day, but you have to actively claim them each day. It takes crystals to begin a boss search. You will have to purchase more if you run out.

Crystals can increase your score and are available in packs. The multiplier increases with tier; some packs can give you up to four times your points.

Here are the Crystal Pack options:

• 3 Pack: 400 Crowns (three 1X Crystals)
• 10 Pack: 800 Crowns (nine 1X Crystals, one 2X Crystal)
• 20 Pack: 1500 Crowns (twelve 1X, two 2X, one 3X Crystal)
• 40 Pack: 4000 Crowns (thirty 1X, seven 2X, two 3X, one 4X Crystal)

Buying Crowns with Crypto or Fiat

Crowns are the main currency in Tollan Survivors. You can buy them using either crypto or fiat. There are three bundles available:
