Project Red, the multiplayer first-person shooter NFT game, is set to launch its next update, showcasing a new map and a new weapon. Elrond Mafia, the team behind Project Red, recently took to Twitter to showcase the new in-game models and screenshots for the update.

The new weapon being added to the game is the headshot machine SKS. The SKS is a semi-automatic rifle that contains 5 bullets in its magazine, prioritizing precision over spraying. The gun has significant recoil to compensate for its strong one-hit potential, as players who are hit once in the head with this gun will instantly kill their opponent.

The newly added Desert Raid map is a middle-east themed map that features abandoned buildings. Although the map showcases amazing visuals, it’s important to note that it’s still developing and that some aspects could be changed before the release. Could the map be perfect for the SKS?
