Closed Beta 2 Is Now Live with Big Updates and $500K Prize Pool
Party Icons has launched its Closed Beta 2. The beta runs from April 2nd to May 1st. This phase brings a lot of new updates, better gameplay, and more ways for players to earn. It’s open to anyone. Players can download and play for free on PC, Android, or iOS. Those who want to try web3 gaming now have an easy way in. The game also features a huge $500,000 prize pool.
Party Icons is a mix of party-style fun and battle royale action. It has three core modes. More are planned later. The main mode is called Party Heist. In this mode, four teams of two race across colorful maps. Players gather treasure, avoid getting knocked out, and decide whether to extract early or fight for more loot. It’s a blend of speed, strategy, and fun.
Party Brawl is more focused on combat. It’s a 3v3 mode that delivers fast team battles. On the other hand, Carnival Clash leans into short and light mini-games. It offers over 25 fun, casual games in quick rounds. Each mode fits into short gaming sessions. Most games last under 12 minutes, which is perfect for quick play on busy days.

Players control characters called Hero Icons. These characters are inspired by art toys and pop culture. Each one has special combat skills and upgradeable weapons. Some of the characters and items are minted as NFTs. These assets have value both in and outside the game.
Updated Extraction Mode with More Freedom and Strategy
Closed Beta 2 brings major changes to the extraction mode. The development team removed older systems like gold, diamonds, and energy fields. Now, there’s one clear and easy-to-use system for entering matches. This helps lower wait times and gives smoother matchmaking.
Players can now fully customize their loadouts. This includes heroes, weapons, armor, mods, medkits, and ammo. The new setup lets players create unique strategies that match their style.

There are also new optional paid features. Safe Boxes help players store loot even after losing a match. Mirblite Collectors increase resource generation. Extracted items can be reused or traded. Players can do this inside the game or on outside platforms.
The Mirble mining system has been reworked. It now uses a productivity-based model. Players gain Mining Power by staking heroes and upgrading Mining Rigs.
Heroes passively generate raw Mirblite. This resource has to be refined into usable Mirble at Mining Stations. To operate these stations, players must stake heroes and connect Mining Rigs. Rigs can be upgraded using materials found in the game or bought from the marketplace.

Players can stake up to five OGX NFTs to increase mining output. Minting is now live. Players can convert Mirble into on-chain assets and trade them on the Sky Mavis Marketplace. This makes Mirble an important part of the in-game economy. It also helps decide who gets $PARTY token airdrops later on.
The game’s combat system also got major upgrades. Hero and gear stats have been adjusted. Armor now has durability. It must be repaired using Mirble. Boss fights are harder and more dynamic.
There’s a new map based in Hong Kong. It adds new routes and different boss mechanics. Elite Shield Units bring new challenges to extraction battles.
New heroes have also joined. Wednesday the Camel is a heavy tank with strong defense. Chester the Madcat is a speedy hero available only through the Party Pass. Players can also unlock upgraded versions of previous heroes through new Party Boxes. All heroes can now be upgraded to G Tier.
The marketplace has received a full redesign. It now has a clean layout, faster navigation, and a price comparison tool. Players can trade items using both Gold and Diamonds.
There’s a new NFT burn option too. This lets players turn extra assets like heroes and weapons into useful in-game materials. The marketplace also has real-time filters. This makes it easier to find and evaluate items.
Closed Beta 2 offers many ways to earn. Players can take on time-limited challenges, complete Bounty Quests, level up through the Party Pass, or try the Fusion System. Every action boosts a player’s chance at the $500,000 prize pool.
Collecting Mirble is also important. It plays a key role in future airdrop eligibility for the $PARTY token.
