Outer Ring, the sci-fi MMORPG game,has announced the release of epic teasers of the redesign of its 5 main species. 

The species in Outer Rings will be a fundamental aspect of the game, allowing players to meet the main species of its universe as well as a deeper dive into its lore. The announcement was released alongside an epic trailer to signify the momentous occasion.

Players can allow their species to grow, improving their abilities over time while crafting its playstyle to their liking. Further, each species will have its own specific physical and cultural attributes, challenging players to weigh the pros and cons of each species.

The 5 species in the game are Earthlings, Va’ans, Oracles, Scavengons, and Mechs. Each species has its unique backstory and abilities, making them an essential part of the game's universe.

Earthlings

The leaders of the Federation with only a few decades of space travel under their belt. They are said to be one of the most resilient and adaptive species in Outer Ring.

Va’ans 

As elegant but war-hungry vicious creatures, they dedicate their entire lives to combat, killing, and to a black hole called the Vessel.

Oracles

are fragile mollusk-like creatures that had to devise impenetrable exoskeletons to give them a fair chance at survival. However, the creation of their suits turned them into god-like creatures with the ability to connect to any device and absorb and calculate information almost as fast as a computer. After their Empire got dismantled by their greed, the Oracles were forced to seek refuge in the Outer Ring where they hoped to rebuild their empire anew.

Scavengers 

They are considered the least advanced creatures in the universe. Scavengers were historically hunted by Va’an fighters, leading them to abandon their home planet. Today, most of the lead secular and nomadic lifestyles.

Mechs

They are the only fully-artificial beings in the universe. Devised by the oracles, ther species eventually broke free from their creators after being originally made for war.

Final Thoughts

Outer Ring’s redesign is set to jumpstart excitement toward its Early Access Pre-Alpha in June. With the game's immersive universe and unique gameplay mechanics, players are eagerly anticipating the chance to explore the Outer Ring and become a part of its universe
