New Movement System: Dodge
The new Dodge system brings faster and more fluid movement. Players can now dodge left, right, or forward on the ground or in the air. Each player has three charges that slowly recharge. Dodge lets players cancel in or out of other actions, making fights more dynamic. It replaces the old sprint system, while Roadrunner limbs now offer longer but slower speed boosts. This update makes the game’s movement more flexible and balanced for all players, even those without specialized limbs.
Support players now have a new tool: the PainKilla cyberlimb. This drone hovers nearby and creates a healing zone that restores health and armor over time. It can also revive downed teammates automatically. The duration depends on the item’s rarity, and the drone disappears when destroyed or expired. PainKilla is especially helpful in team fights, making it a strong addition for squad-based gameplay.
Story Campaign: Kill The Feed
Off The Grid has introduced its first narrative campaign, Kill The Feed. It brings story missions to a game that was mainly focused on PvP battles. Players can now explore a deeper look into the world of Teardrop Island and its characters. The campaign adds a PvE layer, giving players more reasons to return beyond regular matches. More story missions are planned for later updates this year.
The update introduces Achievements that unlock new features. Players can display up to three completed achievements on their player badges. The battle pass system has been redesigned with a linear format. Each level now grants a reward, and after level 100, players can keep progressing infinitely. The new pass is now fully separate from the subscription model, giving players more freedom to earn rewards at their own pace.

Several movement systems have been improved. Jetpacks now start faster and have higher overheat limits. A land roll has been added to soften hard landings, and fall damage has been mostly removed. Wall jumps, mantling, and turning animations now feel smoother. Sliding has been slightly nerfed on steep slopes for better control. Combat also feels clearer, with improved visibility for distant targets, smoother melee hits, and knockback effects. Finishers now reset all limb cooldowns for faster combat recovery.
Weapons have gone through a big rebalance. Assault rifles now feature inverted recoil, with shots starting tight but spreading the longer the trigger is held. This helps restore weapon class balance and makes ARs better for longer ranges. Shotguns, SMGs, and sidearms now perform better at mid-range. Many cyberlimbs have received updates. The Buzzkilla drone now follows players and attacks automatically. The Recon Drone now highlights targets more clearly and self-destructs when a new one is deployed. The Mirror Breaker clone moves faster and lasts longer. Grapple Hooks now allow weapon swaps during pull. Other tweaks include changes to Roadrunners, Paralyzer, and Skunkpaw limbs, improving mobility and combat interactions.
Loot rates have been increased across matches. Players will find more RIP currency and better mid- to late-game rewards. The lowest-tier backpack has been removed, but a new Hoarder’s Backpack allows for more armor and ammo. Zone damage now increases the longer a player stays inside, and kills now grant RIP currency. The camera and HUD systems have also been improved with better FOV settings, cleaner visuals, and smoother control layouts.
The new HDR Audio system makes the game sound more immersive. Enemy footsteps, jetpacks, and movement sounds are clearer. New voice lines and DJ tracks add more life to matches. To celebrate one year of Early Access, daily login rewards include the Anniversary Set, 24 weapon skins, a new Barret weapon, a DJ track, and exclusive profile visuals.
