Big Changes Coming to My Pet Hooligan in 2025

AMGI Studios has shared a new roadmap for My Pet Hooligan, giving the community a look at what’s coming in 2025. The developers also launched a UGC contest for February, offering $KARRAT rewards to encourage social engagement.

After completing most goals from the original roadmap released over three years ago, the team is moving forward with fresh plans for the third-person shooter. The roadmap splits 2025 into three sections, each covering a four-month period. It also categorizes milestones based on different areas of development.

The developers plan to transition the game from early access to an alpha version between May and August 2025. It will remain in alpha throughout the year, with a beta expected in 2026. A major change is the shift from free-to-play to a pay-to-play model in March 2025. The early access price will be $9.99, while the launch price will be $19.99. Looking at the roadmap, several updates may arrive by April 2025. These include a console program, a new website, a user account system, an alpha version of the game’s marketplace, and a trial version of an AI chat buddy. Other additions include the introduction of “Street Kred,” a movie proposal for community voting, Coinbase questing, creator campaigns, marketing content, community game nights, and the Solo Championship.

Registrations for the Solo Championship are open, with sign-ups available through an official X thread. Later in the year, the marketplace could enter beta, bringing cross-chain payments and onramps. The game itself is expected to introduce mini-games, an extraction mechanism, and the integration of ZuckBots. These are NFTs on Ethereum that function as in-game companions and have their own mobile game.
