Kiraverse, a multiplayer NFT shooter game, has recently announced the launch of the Kiraverse Beta v1.3 patch, its most recent path for its live beta. This patch introduces a significant mechanic for player retention as well as the release of new skin in collaboration with GameStop NFT Marketplace.

In-Game Cosmetics

Announced on Twitter, the company claimed that the latest patch now allows players to authenticate and use selected assets they purchased in-game. In other words, players can now equip and use their purchased cosmetics in-game, effectively allowing them to show off their rad cosmetics against other players.

Players can easily get started by logging into their accounts, connecting their wallets, and launching the Kiraverse game to finally see their premium assets.

Buck the Bunny

Along with the new patch's launch, Kiraverse has collaborated with GameStop NFT Marketplace to bring a Buck the Bunny cosmetic to its players. In case you donā€™t know, Buck the Bunny is GameStopā€™s official cutesy mascot ā€“ now in a badass form.

Players will now be able to use this cute bunny as a special cosmetic that players can use while dominating the competition. To use Buck the Bunny, players must follow the simple steps provided by Kiraverse.

  • They must purchase an NFT from Buck Season I
  • Download Kiraverse
  • Connect their GamestopNFT wallet
  • Start playing.

For most shooter games, cosmetics are a great way to enhance the player experience by adding variety and different ways to experience the all-too-familiar action of mowing down enemies. With the addition of in-game cosmetics, Kiraverse beta players will be able to further experience what the Kiraverse final launch will feel like.

Final Thoughts

So far, the announcement has received a lot of positive feedback. Although we have yet to see how this will play out in-game, there is no doubt this is going to make the well-known shooter game much more fun while crafting a viable cosmetic-based economy to benefit all.
