Land NFTs in Heroes of Mavia Introduction 

This October, Skrice Studios is officially introducing Land NFTs to its mobile strategy game, Heroes of Mavia. Powered by the Base blockchain, these NFTs bring several benefits that enhance the web3 gaming experience. Holders of these NFTs can expect exclusive perks in both gameplay and the marketplace.

One of the main benefits for Land NFT holders is higher Ruby earnings per battle. Depending on the rarity of the land plot, holders will see their earnings boosted. For example, Common Land increases earnings by 200%, Rare Land by 257.14%, and Legendary Land by 350%. Daily earning limits also rise, with Common Land boosting limits by 300%, Rare Land by 450%, and Legendary Land by 700%. Additionally, owning up to 10 extra land plots adds a further bonus, which increases incrementally based on land rarity.

Priority Access to Special Mint Events

Land NFT holders also receive early access to special mint events. These events offer the chance to mint exclusive NFTs that are unavailable elsewhere. VIP Events provide landholders with a 24-hour head start before the event opens to all players. VIP Platinum Events are reserved for Legendary landholders during the first 24 hours, followed by Rare and Common holders for the next 24 hours, before opening up to all players.

Land renting and partnerships are two advanced features being introduced in phases. Renting allows holders to rent their land for passive income, while partnerships are a form of scholarship. In partnerships, the landholder and scholar share Ruby earnings, with scholars receiving a higher daily limit. The rollout will occur over four phases, each lasting 3-4 weeks. Initially, only Legendary landholders can rent and form partnerships, with later phases opening these features up to Rare and Common landholders.

Land NFT staking rewards will go live in November 2024. Players who stake their NFTs will receive exclusive statues that boost gameplay, with one statue reserved only for Legendary landholders. Although details on these statues are limited, more information is expected soon. In addition, the Ruby Marketplace will soon introduce a voting system that allows landholders to decide which NFTs get added next. More information on this system will also be released in the near future.
