Gunzilla Games, a top Web3 game studio and the developer of the GUNZ blockchain, has partnered with Fireblocks. Fireblocks is a leading enterprise platform for blockchain applications and digital asset operations. This partnership marks a big step forward for Gunzilla’s blockchain ecosystem.

Better Asset Management for Institutional Holders

With this new integration, institutional holders of GUN tokens and GUNZ Validator NFTs can now manage their assets more effectively using Fireblocks. The GUNZ Validator NFTs allow players to mint new in-game NFTs and earn commissions in GUN tokens through transactions. Fireblocks’ enterprise non-custodial wallets-as-a-service (WaaS) are now part of the GUNZ infrastructure. This means users of the GUNZ Wallet retain full ownership of their in-game assets. The testnet already has over 800,000 wallets.

Gunzilla Games’ CEO, Vlad Korolov, expressed excitement about the integration with Fireblocks. He said this development would help institutional clients manage their GUN tokens and GUNZ Validator NFTs through Fireblocks’ secure platform. Korolov also mentioned that the non-custodial option enhances the digital economy within the GUNZ platform. He is proud of the collaboration with Fireblocks and believes it will set a new standard for blockchain-enabled games.

GUNZ: A Player-Driven Economy

GUNZ is a blockchain-based platform. It is built on a custom Avalanche Subnet. This foundation provides a solid and efficient structure for digital transactions and operations.GUNZ allows game developers to create player-driven economies. Developers can give players full ownership of in-game assets. These assets include tradeable NFTs, enhancing player engagement and value. The first game on the GUNZ platform will be Gunzilla's battle royale game, Off The Grid.

Gunzilla Games plans to provide its software development kit (SDK) and white-label components to other game developers. This will attract more developers and help grow a diverse gaming ecosystem on GUNZ.

Fireblocks' Contribution to Web3

Omer Amsel, head of Web3 at Fireblocks, wants to make Web3 easy for Web2 users and keep gamers' assets secure. Integrating Fireblocks’ non-custodial wallets into GUNZ lets players own their in-game assets completely. Players can buy, sell, or trade items effortlessly, making gaming better overall.

This announcement follows Gunzilla Games’ recent integration with OpenSea, a major NFT marketplace. Gunzilla Games also completed a $30 million funding round co-led by CoinFund and Avalanche Foundation’s Blizzard Fund, with additional support from Republic Capital and Morningstar Ventures.
