The Machines Arena P2A Season 2 Overview
The Machines Arena is back with P2A Season 2, giving players a chance to compete in a four-week play-to-airdrop event. Running from November 5th to December 3rd, players will vie for their share of a 22 million $TMA token prize pool. With updated gameplay and reward mechanics, this new season is all about enhancing player engagement and making the path to earning rewards more streamlined. Let’s dive into what’s changed, how to earn $TMA tokens, and the benefits of joining this season.

P2A Season 2 brings adjustments to the format, focusing on consistent gameplay as the main way to earn rewards. To boost player activity, Directive Games has increased rewards for playing matches and set the number of matches as a key metric for winning a share of the token pool. This season introduces a party size limit for ranked matches, allowing only two players to queue together. The prize pool, totaling 22 million $TMA tokens, is the last chance for players to secure tokens before the Token Generation Event (TGE).
VIP players will still get daily login bonuses, but VIP status is no longer necessary to participate in the play-to-airdrop event. This update makes it easier for all players to join and aim for higher leaderboard ranks. Teams and scores were reset at the start of the season, and repeatable quests were removed to focus on gameplay-related objectives, further enhancing the gaming experience.
How to Compete for $TMA Rewards
Earning a share of the 22 million $TMA prize pool involves accumulating points by playing matches and completing quests. To qualify for rewards, you’ll need to rank among the top 6,000 players with the most points. The leaderboard requires each player to play at least 20 matches, a simpler requirement compared to the previous event that needed VIP status. The more you play throughout the season, the higher your chances of ranking and earning a significant share of the tokens.

Points are awarded for daily logins, match completions, and successful quests. Winning Quick and Ranked matches now grants 35 and 50 points, respectively. Even in defeat, non-ranked matches reward players with 10 points, while losing in ranked matches gives 15 points. This season, points per match have been boosted to reward both casual and competitive players.
Quests have shifted to emphasize gameplay, moving away from last season’s win-focused tasks. Now, you can earn additional points through Death Run, a solo PvE mode where you pick a weapon, choose a difficulty, and fight through endless rooms of enemies. Reaching a score of 20,000 in Death Run nets you 40 points, rewarding high scores and consistent performance.
While VIP status is not essential for participating in the event, it provides extra perks. VIP players receive a daily points bonus and a higher TGE unlock percentage. By upgrading VIP levels up to VIP4, players can unlock up to 10% more tokens on the TGE day. VIP memberships are available through the official website, starting at 3.87 $RON for VIP1, which also grants a daily 150-point bonus.
In addition, holding $TMA assets, such as skins and Familiars, awards players extra points based on rarity, with some assets offering unique bonus points. This feature rewards dedicated players with in-game assets and strengthens their leaderboard ranking.
The leaderboard divides into five brackets, each with a different percentage of the prize pool allocated to players based on their rank. Higher-ranked players receive a larger portion of the $TMA tokens. Here’s the bracket breakdown:
- Bracket 1 (1-600): 45%
- Bracket 2 (601-1500): 25%
- Bracket 3 (1501-3000): 15%
- Bracket 4 (3001-4500): 10%
- Bracket 5 (4501-6000): 5%
Once the TGE happens, 15% of each player’s tokens will unlock on the first day, with the potential for a higher Day 1 unlock (up to 35%) depending on VIP status and leaderboard rank. Remaining tokens will unlock gradually over six months, based on consistent gameplay.
Joining the P2A Season 2 of The Machines Arena is free. Just download the shooter game for Android or PC and register on the official website. The Epic Games Store also offers the PC version. So, in this exciting blockchain gaming season, get your gear on, get playing, and try to win a piece of the $TMA prize pool.
