Get ready for the Boss Fighters Open Stress Test 2! This event is for all participants, kicking off on August 16th at 3pm UTC and running until August 19th at 2:59pm UTC. Note your calendar to jump in and play. 

Leaderboard and Rewards for Boss Fighters Stress Test 2

The stress test will feature three 24-hour sprints, each with its own leaderboard. There are two categories: Unbreakable Boss and Unstoppable Fighter. For each category in every sprint, the top 100 players will win prizes. This means you could potentially earn up to six prizes by ranking high in both categories over all three days!

The amount of time you spend playing determines your position on the leaderboard. Your rank will increase as you play more.

What’s New with Boss Fighters?

Boss Fighters is looking to get as many players involved as possible. They have included a new feature that allows PC players to play as boss characters without using VR. In addition, there is a new arena map with numerous levels and challenging obstacles.

Get your buddies involved and have fun together! To earn extra points in the Boss Fighters airdrop campaign, share your referral code when they register.

The rewards for this stress test are exclusive Emoji skins. These NFTs are only available through this event and will not be sold. There will be three types of skins: common (Blitz), uncommon (Brat), and rare (Surge). In total, there will be 2500 Blitz skins, 1000 Brat skins, and 750 Surge skins for both Boss and Weapon skins.

Here’s the breakdown of prizes:

• Ranks 1-20: Rare Boss Skin / Rare Weapon Skin
• Ranks 21-50: Uncommon Boss Skin / Uncommon Weapon Skin
• Ranks 51-100: Common Boss Skin / Common Weapon Skin

In total, there will be 120 rare skins, 180 uncommon skins, and 300 common skins awarded.

All prizes from Stress Test 2 will be distributed on August 20th. Make sure your Boss Fighters account is linked to your Open Loot account to receive your rewards.

Details about Boss Fighters

Boss Fighters is an arena combat game where players face off against a giant Boss with incredible abilities, like crushing buildings and shooting lasers. Fighters team up and use various weapons and gear to defeat the Boss.

For a more immersive experience, Boss players can use a VR headset. The game is free to play and doesn’t need NFTs or a web3 wallet.

Currently in pre-beta, Boss Fighters will soon run in seasons. Players will earn experience, unlock new gear, and receive upgrades. While rewards may reset between seasons, players can mint some items into NFTs using game currency. The game features cosmetic skins for Bosses, Fighters, and Weapons. These skins add a stylish touch but don’t affect gameplay.

Boss Fighters connects with Open Loot, allowing players to buy and sell digital collectibles without a web3 wallet. Skins are already available on the Open Loot marketplace. The beta release is set for late August 2024, followed by an ‘Economy Test’ in September.
