Domi Online Public Playtest Goes Live with $10K in Rewards

Domi Online’s Public Playtest is Now Live

The much-anticipated public playtest for the medieval MMORPG Domi Online launched on December 14th. Initially set for November, the playtest was delayed to ensure a seamless experience. Players can now compete for prizes worth $10,000 in $BEAM, $USDC, and $DOMI tokens through leaderboard rankings.

For the first time, players can explore the entire fantasy world of Domi Online for free. The playtest runs from December 14th at 6 PM GMT to December 21st at 6 PM GMT. Unlike the 24-hour stress test held in September, this phase features a full week of gameplay and opens up the entire map. Players can visit locations like Vyorkur Mountains, Saint’s Rest, Leviathan’s Reach, and Stannfyr Capital.

The extended duration and expanded map follow the success of the earlier stress test. Developers used the feedback and server performance data to refine the game and enhance the experience.

The development team has made several enhancements to the game. Network stability has been improved, and new areas have been added to the playable map. Visual and environmental elements have been upgraded, and gameplay has been refined based on user feedback.

Players can access all levels, skills, and professions without caps, allowing them to fully experience the game’s mechanics. Domi Online embraces a no-limit philosophy, challenging players to survive in an unforgiving fantasy world.

The delayed launch allowed the team to integrate a prize pool for the playtest. The rewards aim to create an engaging and competitive environment. The total prize pool is $10,000, distributed across combat and profession leaderboards, a $BEAM airdrop, and unique bug reports.

Combat Leaderboard Rewards

The Combat Leaderboard has the largest share of the prize pool, ranking players based on combat and player level. The top 50 players receive rewards:

• 1st Place: $1,500
• 2nd Place: $1,000
• 3rd Place: $500
• 4th–10th Places: $150 each
• 11th–50th Places: $50 each

Category Leaderboard Rewards

For players focusing on non-combat professions, Category Leaderboards reward mastery in fishing, cooking, blacksmithing, and alchemy. Top players in each category can win:

• 1st Place: $200
• 2nd Place: $150
• 3rd Place: $100

In partnership with Beam, $1,000 worth of $BEAM tokens will be distributed among the top 200 players.

To encourage valuable feedback, $1,500 of the prize pool is allocated for unique bug reports. Players reporting significant issues may earn a share of this reward, depending on the report’s uniqueness and impact.

To participate, visit the official Domi Online website and download the game launcher. This playtest is the only way to access the game before its official launch. While the Open Alpha Release is planned next, no exact date has been announced.

Shortly after the playtest went live, developers postponed the prize pool event due to performance issues. Player progress will reset, and a new date will be announced. However, the playtest remains open for those able to log in.
