Jurassic World Comes to The Sandbox
The Sandbox is launching a Jurassic World experience in partnership with Universal and Amblin Entertainment. Players will take on the role of a Dinosaur Protection Group employee, managing a dinosaur park without Owen Grady, the film’s main character. This event, Jurassic World: Dinosaur Preserve, is part of Alpha Season 5.
Alpha Season 5 lasts six weeks and features over 40 experiences. Some come from entertainment brands like Attack on Titan, The Smurfs, and The Terminator. Others are user-generated, taking advantage of improved game creation tools. The season will offer a mix of challenges, rewards, and exclusive content designed to keep players engaged.

The Sandbox is an open-world video game for PC and Mac. Players can explore, create, and purchase NFTs representing virtual land. Players may now interact with their favorite franchises in new ways thanks to the interactive experiences that several brands have created. The game's voxel-based design is well-known for fostering creativity in the creation of worlds and experiences.
Jurassic World: Dinosaur Preserve Details
Launching before the July 2 release of "Jurassic World Rebirth," this event lets players care for dinosaur eggs and help them grow into adults. Growth happens through Jurassic Points, earned by feeding and cleaning the dinosaurs. As players progress, they unlock new interactions, increasing the complexity of caring for their dinosaurs.
There will be 10 types of dinosaur eggs—half are free-to-play herbivores, while the others are premium, purchasable carnivores. Both eggs and dinosaurs will be issued as limited-supply NFTs. Players who collect and nurture these dinosaurs will have the opportunity to trade or showcase them within the game.

Players can earn over $1 million in SAND tokens and more than 50 NFTs during the six-week season. The Sandbox now issues its NFTs on Ethereum’s Polygon network, though earlier assets were on Ethereum’s mainnet. Limited-time events and challenges will offer additional ways for players to win unique rewards.
The Sandbox has upgraded its game maker with better character animations, new gameplay features, and an ability system allowing players to fly or double jump. These enhancements improve movement and interaction within the game world. Players can also experience more detailed environments and improved AI behavior in non-playable characters.
The Sandbox continues to attract major entertainment brands. By incorporating well-known franchises, the platform creates immersive experiences that blend storytelling with gaming. This strategy helps grow the metaverse community and encourages new players to explore the platform.
The team plans to launch multiple seasons this year. By improving LiveOps and metagameplay, they hope to let players advance and gain benefits that go beyond personal experiences. The game will remain engaging for the player community for a long time with regular new updates.
