Ember Sword is one of the most heavily anticipated games in the play-to-earn industry. The game has been in development for several years now and gamers, speculators, and supporters have been growing in numbers through time. 

As the year is about to end, Ember Sword finally released a new gameplay leak that surely fuels up the excitement and anticipation behind the game. Let us have a look!

What is Ember Sword?

Ember Sword is an upcoming social sandbox MMORPG that features true ownership of digital collectibles and assets through blockchain technology. The game is currently being developed by Bright Star Studios on the Immutable-X blockchain and gamers all around the world cannot wait to try and play the game.

Similar to other traditional MMORPGs, the game will feature different Nations wherein players start to build their in-game progress. In Ember Sword, however, it is going to be deeper than the one we got used to in MMORPGs of the past. 

Popular MMORPGs have nations affect their PvP aspects but in Ember Sword, your chosen Nation will totally affect your progression and gameplay starting from the resources, your Nation’s activities, and others. There will be four available Nations in Ember Sword: 

• Sevrend
• Solarwood
• Duskeron
• Ediseau. 

These Nations will differ from activities such as PvP areas, world bosses, questing and trading areas, and others. In the release of the game, a PvP feature between the Nations will also be available.

Breaking Down the Pre-Alpha Video 

First, we saw in the video the URL of the upcoming release of the game. It said “play.embersword.com” and if you go there right now, you will be redirected to your registered Ember Sword account within the game’s official website. The URL might be a future game portal wherein we can finally try out the game for free but right now, all we can do is wait with excitement!

Next, it was shown that after logging in to the URL portal, players will be loaded in the server through this amazing in-game dock! In this dock, you will be able to meet other players immediately and start interacting with them through the in-game chat system.

After that, the frame shifts to a footage within the game’s marketplace or town. Here, we can see three similar-looking characters (could be from the same Nation?) going around the town. The town features various NPCs who you can possibly interact with, gather quests, and possibly trade or purchase items!

The video also featured a lot of new buildings that could be useful in the game’s future gameplay. We do not know what these structures do but we sure are excited to know!

Next, we saw the characters finally engaging in combat and it seems like they are fighting in a party with other characters. This seems like a teaser that the game will have an integrated party-making feature so that you can enjoy the game with your friends!
 

We also saw how awesome the world building is. Imagine doing some platforming and adventure in game with your best buds!

We also saw this massive townsquare-looking area wherein you can interact with LOTS of other players and venture around town to interact with some NPCs! The frame also features a chat log wherein we can see a player talking about petting a creature. This might mean that the game will also feature a pet system.

The video also showed gathering resources from various locations and Nations. Different varieties of resources and items can be obtained exclusively throughout the Nations.

Lastly, the video reminded us of four things that we need to remember upon the release of the game:

1. NO DOWNLOADS
2. NO PATCHES
3. NO WAITING
4. NO PAY-TO-WIN
