Proof-of-Stake blockchain, Harmony, collaborates with Game Space to scale Web3 games using sharding, SDK, and blockchain technology. The combination of these technologies allows both companies to make it easier to bring web3 gaming to the masses, allowing a seamless and cost-effective on-chain development to further blockchain mass adoption.

Harmony is a scalable and secure blockchain that supports Dapps. The company combines sharding and Proof-of-Stake technology to achieve a secure, decentralized, and scalable solution to confirm transactions within the blockchain.

Game Space is a GameFi-as-a-Service(or GaaS) platform that utilizes a software development kit or SDK(Software Development Kit). The SDK allows the creation of an NFT Marketplace and a standalone token wallet for the company.

What will this Partnership bring?

Leveraging both Harmony’s blockchain technology with Game Space’s expertise in web2 games and SDK(Software Development Kit) tech, the partnership seeks to create a gaming platform that will make it easier for web2 gamers to transition towards blockchain technology.

The collaboration seeks to reduce the cost and time of development as well as the ability of digital NFT marketplaces to process transactions fast. The sharding process enhances the scaling solution for developer apps while maintaining security and decentralization, allowing a seamless transition for traditional gamers worldwide.

The project will include a fully supported token wallet. This will enable users to withdraw deposits, or even swap in-game tokens, allowing a simple and secure way for investors to take control of their digital assets.

GameFi Mass Adoption

Despite blockchain gaming's massive success over the years, it has only penetrated 2.5% of gamers worldwide. In recorded web3 activity, gaming accounts for roughly 60% of all blockchain-based activity, showcasing that web3 gaming could be a massive catalyst for blockchain technology adoption.

The gaming sector across web2 and web3 is massive.GameFi users are only no more than a tiny fraction of the world’s 3 billion gamers. The key to GameFi’s mass adoption could potentially be the dormant web3 gamers who have yet to take a step towards the potential blockchain gaming could pose.
