WEMADE has announced the first-ever YMIR Cup World Championship. The event will take place from February 28 to March 1, 2026. The venue is Razer’s Southeast Asia headquarters in Singapore. This tournament marks the first global offline competition for Legend of YMIR since the game launched. It also signals a larger esports push tied to the title.

This event continues the partnership between WEMADE and Razer. The two companies previously worked together during Season 1 through in-game promotions. The championship now brings that partnership into a live competitive setting.

Tournament Format and Broadcast Plan

The YMIR Cup World Championship will run for two days. The entire event will be broadcast live. Viewers can watch on YouTube, Twitch, Facebook Gaming, and Bilibili. This wide coverage supports a global audience across different regions.

Players will qualify through YMIR Cup Online League Matches. These matches run from December 26, 2025, to February 6, 2026. Selected players will be flown to Singapore. All competitors will play on-site at Razer’s SEA headquarters.

On-Site Competition and Prize Rewards

All matches will use Razer’s latest esports gear. This includes the DeathAdder V4 Pro mouse, Huntsman V3 Pro keyboard, and BlackShark V3 Pro headset. The setup ensures equal conditions for every team.

The winning team will receive the Global Championship Server title. As an extra reward, the champions will join a special Legend Match. They will face Korea’s top three Beowulf clans. These clans are King the Land, King the World, and Saekom. They placed first to third in the second YMIR Cup held in Korea.

WEMADE stated that the championship is only the beginning. After the 2026 event concludes, the company plans to expand the YMIR Cup into a large-scale league. This move reflects growing interest in competitive play within the game.

Kisung Kim, a division head at WEMADE, shared thoughts on community activity. He pointed to strong participation through the Partner’s Server system and server-vs-server battles. He noted that the tournament creates a shared space for top players from different regions to compete together.

Season 1 and Core Gameplay Updates

The global tournament follows shortly after Season 1. Season 1 launched on November 25 and runs until December 30. The update introduced many new systems, bosses, events, and PvP features. The season carries the title Season of Growth.

A new progression system called Origin of Growth sits at the center of the update. Players earn points by clearing seasonal content. These points unlock buffs like Blessing of Growth and Blessing of Leap. These buffs increase experience gain and item drop rates.

Season Valhalla introduced a new farming map. Inside sits the Hall of Growth. Players can earn seasonal drops at a faster pace. Access is limited to one hour per day. Recharge items can extend this time.

The Season Expedition event adds a daily Kobold King raid. Players defend the Tree of Life against waves of enemies. Entry is limited to once per day. Access depends on level and seasonal progress.

Bosses, Gear, and Progression Systems

Seasonal world bosses were added. One example is the Golden Giant Baldergrud. He appears in selected areas of Asgard. Defeating him grants limited-edition items tied to Origin of Growth.

New equipment includes the Megingjord belt, Valkyrie’s Grail, and Necklace of Growth. These items support enhancement systems. They can also be registered in seasonal collections. Collection bonuses remain active even after the season ends.

A new PvP mode called Server Battle is now live. It runs every Tuesday night. Entry requires level 40 or higher. Players must also rank in the top 500 for Inter Server Growth Power.

Winning grants the clan leader the Conqueror title for the week. This title unlocks buffs, announcements, field boss control, and limited shops. Each Monday, the highest-ranked player on each server receives the Champion title.

The tournament builds on earlier Razer collab content. Season 1 introduced two promotional bundles through the Razer Gold store. These included exclusive Disir companions and seasonal boosts. The bundles supported faster progression for new and returning players.

Despite these developments, community concerns surfaced. Storming, founder of the Tempest Guild, publicly criticized WEMADE. He cited rule changes, reduced creator support, and removed real-money prizes. He also raised issues around revenue sharing and communication. For now, he plans to step back and observe.
