TOEI ANIMATION, one of Japan’s leading animation companies, has announced an exciting collaboration with The Sandbox. The Sandbox Metaverse will host experiences based on TOEI ANIMATION’s iconic intellectual properties as a result of this collaboration (IPs).

TOEI ANIMATION, an advocate of Japanese animation, has created many world-renowned productions such as “Dragon Ball,” “Sailormoon,” and “One Piece.” With this collaboration, The Sandbox continues its pursuit of collaborations with top Japanese animation production IP brands. The Sandbox will feature the world view of TOEI ANIMATION on its LAND, providing users with a one-of-a-kind experience.

According to TOEI ANIMATION CO., LTD Managing Director Satoshi Shinohara, “Metaverse” is a new concept that has emerged in recent years, and TOEI ANIMATION is ready to set sail into this new ocean. He continued, “We are thrilled and honored to be working with The Sandbox and Minto as our partners. I am confident that the ‘FLEET’ we have assembled will be capable of discovering new continents and routes that will guide the entertainment industry for years to come.”

To commemorate the collaboration, The Sandbox is giving away a limited edition commemorative NFT to the first 1,000 users who register. The NFT will be unveiled soon, but it will not be based on the content of TOEI ANIMATION.

Conditions for receiving the NFT

To claim your NFT you must:
