Tabletop RPG fans are in for a treat. The Glimmering, an upcoming NFT TTRPG (TableTop RPG game), has just launched. Made by GRPNR, a tech company that recently announced its on-chain platform, the Polygon-based NFT game will feature elements that both pro and new players of the genre will thoroughly enjoy.

The Glimmering is set to become the first blockchain-based 5E TRRPG game. It will feature NFT playable characters where you can connect with players and go on epic quests while having your progress recorded on-chain. This means character level-ups, loot, and quest progress will be remembered and visually displayed over time based on quest outcomes.

The game takes place in a tiny corner in the far north of a world called Asuwa in the Moonstone Empire. It’s a world that thrums with magic, but danger lurks everywhere. Fame, glory, and riches wait for those willing to take the risk.
