Star Wars: Galactic Raver is coming in October 2026. The keen gaming industry observer, Wario64, initially spotted a particular date on the Steam product page of the game. The temporary listing indicates that the game will be released on October 6, 2026.

We understand to take this with a grain of salt, considering that it is normal for developers to plant false teasers in a bid to create excitement about their games. But Steam quickly changed the date to a generic 2026. It contributes to its appearance of looking more like a slip-up than an actual error.

The leak not only revealed the date but also hinted at what the Deluxe Edition would contain. Individuals receiving the disc version will receive the tangible Steelbook as well. This could spell a massive retailing blitz of a game that many are anticipating to be a spiritual sequel to the popular Star Wars Episode I: Racer.

According to what we have observed with the help of the Official Gameplay Trailer presented in the State of Play in February by Sony, Galactic Racer is not necessarily a podracing affair. The game promises a great diversity of fast rides through a broad selection of rides across the Star Wars timeline, such as:

  • Podracers: The classic, high-speed motors of the Prequel Era.
  • Speeder Bikes: Fast cars ideal for maneuvering through forest-like Endor.
  • Landspeeders: Models of the standard civilian ships that have been modified.

The game will set out to capture the need for speed. It will leverage as much modern hardware in PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S and PC to create environments that appear as cinematic as the movies.
